We came last week, May 23, we met a young man called Antonio, not sure if he works for the port or one of the carriers. Blue jeans leather jacket! He was so helpful, gave us lots of tips what to do and not to do, maps etc. Brilliant, thanks Antonio đ
It is nice to walk along the promenade and to enjoy the view to the ocean. There are also some restaurants.
Visited Napoli on a day trip from Sorrento. Would really need 2 to 3 days to do it justice. Only covered coastal trip on hop on hop off bus due to students protest but walked around the centre and enjoyes the streets with their craftsmen shops. Ferry easy to get to and you could stay in Naples and visit Capri, Sorrento and Ischia on separate day trips.
Nice port to visit and plenty to see.. Every thing is close to the pore or Naples. only thing I Can complain about is the streets are dirty
Very busy port with great scenes visible from our ship. We just had to have some of Napoli's ice cream.
Arrive early! Go buy your tickets (make sure to ask for a high speed ferry should be about 45 mins transit time).Make sure to ask at least two officials which gate your boat is and then check your neighbors tickets when trying to get on the ferry. Itâs such a cluster and most people donât seem to actually know which boat is where- theyâre passing the buck.
