Excellent place amidst forest. Fair amount of trekking involved but mostly flat area. Better to visit in morning,

Very sacred and peaceful place. It takes about 1-2 km from Champakadhama Swamy and Lakshmi Narasimha temple to this place (mini trek). I have read somewhere that as per the belief, King Janamejaya had visited this place when he was cursed with sarpa dosha and the same was cured by the water in this pond. Shiva, Amba bhavani and Anjaneya Swamy and Naga temple/gudi are there. As this is in forest would suggest to visit in groups.

Oh the places and amazing view and located inside a national park area you get to see some wild animals and peacocks if you really lucky it's sort of a hiking place and has huge kalyani and a temple and a hill and a go to place for couples..

Adventure and a creepy place to visit in the bhannerghetta area..
This temple is like an ancient abundant structure.

Quite large distance to walk through into this temple.

The best place to visit during monsoon. Carry the warm clothes, it's too cold. Better to park the vehicle in the parking and rent the local vehicles so that traffic can be avoided as the roads are bit steep and the ousider might feel nervous and cause the road congestion. Travel responsible and avoid littering.

Champaka swamy temple and Swarna mukhi temple are very close by. Peaceful place for you to go to.
...
Beauty n unexplored place around Bangalore other than common hang out places , go here for the relax and quick break from the city into the forest area . but be careful with wild animals around this Bannerghatta forest zone 🙏🏼
..
This is about 60 years old temple inside the Bannerghatta national park. You have to walk about 1.5 KM inside the forest behind Chambakadhana Narasimha temple. You have to climb the mount to Narasimha Swamy temple and walk behind the temple. After the Narasimha Swamy temple road is mostly flat and nice to walk. It was very pleasant to walk with birds chirping. Temple is maintained by mostly the locals around Bannerghatta and they come late and open the temples mostly by 11 AM. It’s a nice place for a short picnic, there were few monkeys so take caution if you carry any food items.
Temple with itz kalyani is almost a part of bannerghatta national park. Car can be parked at Champakadhama Swamy Temple. From here we have to walk through the forest area to reach temple. It's elephant area also as we got to see to see elephant poop in 3-4 places. The walk is really good and refreshing.
