2.5 stars . Some nice artwork but overall not too impressed. I probably spent 15 minutes here . I did enjoy the views of the river . It feels like the entire area is somewhat desolate

Gorgeous. Lovely holiday fireworks & neon light show!

The Riverview Park is quickly becoming an iconic location for the downtown area. It provides a respite from a busy day with your favorite book and blanket; families can picnic or come to the many events held, and it can be quite the peaceful location. The events are well attended and with the addition of the Bakowski Bridge of Lights, they've increased in size and popularity. It's a great location for Senior Portraits and having beautiful spaces in our city is always a plus.

I love coming down here and walking around taking pictures! It's a beautiful area along the river and have views of both Bossier and Shreveport skylines.

Decent park. Defunct river cruise ramp needs to be removed. Rose sculpture were unique, probably better at night if they are illuminated. Fountain looked like it would have been pretty if it had actually been on, unfortunate it was pitiful with stagnant algae covered water. The highlight was the sensory garden and the police and firefighter memorial.

Props to Shreveport for providing a tranquil and well-maintained walkway along the Red River. Maybe it isn't super-scenic but it's fine for contemplative walks outside the casinos.

I'm using passing through Shreveport and not visiting. I was missing out. I will definitely go back again to take it more sites.
