We had such an incredible dining experience on Saturday 6/1 for brunch! My 8 friends and I celebrated for my bachelorette. The menu was exquisite and allowed us to try many nola staples - gumbo & shrimp and gritz. We also enjoyed chambongs, cappuccino, lobster arancini, and crawfish benedict. Our expectations were exceeded. We were met with friendly staff members and our server, Max, was top noch. We also took advantage of the beautiful photo ops. Jack Rose was an incredible spot for a celebration and provided superb food and service.

Beautiful restaurant with great food and service. Standouts on the menu include the Fettuccine Nero and Red Snapper with Walnut Agrodolce, both were delicious.

While the gumbo was flavorful, it might be a bit too heavy on the cinnamon and/or nutmeg for some palates. The close seating can make for a lively atmosphere, but the high noise level made conversation difficult at times.

Overall, it was a positive experience. I'd definitely return, especially on a less busy night for a quieter atmosphere.

Exquisite culinary journey!

From the moment I stepped into Jack RoseI was enveloped in an ambiance that promised an unforgettable culinary journey. The highlight of my visit was the succulent short rib, which was cooked to perfection, its flavors deep and complex, melting tenderly with each bite.
But the true star of the show was the Italian rabbit sausage. A rare find on most menus, this dish was a symphony of flavors, expertly balanced and boldly seasoned. The sausage was both rustic and refined, a testament to the chef’s mastery in elevating traditional fare with a modern twist.

Great brunch spot in a beautiful setting. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of seafood in the food! Crowd favorite: cracked potatoes! Pontchartrain Frittata and the crawfish cornbread were excellent! The only item I would not recommend is the lobster arancini… small portion and were only ok.

Would recommend!

Red snapper is a must. The expreso martini was also excellent. This place is definitely in my top ten of New Orleans, sure I’ll come back. The service was taking care of all our needs in a very kind way. Also the environment is kind of cool since there is nice music. We celebrated an especial date

The absolute best birthday. I want to thank the entire staff of Jack Rose for truly being remarkable. They were so flexible, accommodating, and made our night so memorable. Food was to DIE for, I can’t emphasize enough how delicious everything was. There were 18 of us, and they were absolutely fantastic. Service, atmosphere, food, presentation, vibes, STAFF, all were 5/5 stars- I can’t WAIT to go back. Ironically enough we had two friend groups that were going to New Orleans the following weeks, and I immediately told them to make reservations at Jack Rose - both parties also had an amazing experience! Thank you so much again- can’t wait to be back!!!

Went for a bachelorette party of 12 & it was lovely! The vibes were on point & they did an amazing job handling such a big group.
And the food… omg! It was delicious!! I had the beet salad & the mushroom pasta - so freaking good I licked my plate clean! 12/10 recommend for a nice, slightly fancy (or whatever level of fancy) night out.

The worst thing about coming here is having to decide what to get.... Because it's all so good!

The hostess was kind and welcoming, and made small talk while arranging a table for me. Maggie was my server and she said she was new but she is very good at her job. She is going to do really well in the service industry. The manager came by to check on me, and I felt well cared for the entire time. My water was always full and plates were cleared quickly - the teamwork was seamless.

Now, about the good. Every bite was incredible. I started with the duck gumbo and the rich flavors warmed me all the way to my soul. Next came the rabbit sausage appetizer, with root vegetables and a lovely tangy sauce that brought it all together. Finally, the steak special with crispy potatoes.... Wow! The potatoes were perfectly crispy and seasoned, the steak was perfectly seasoned and medium rate and sliced, which made each bite a breeze. The Martini (that's the name of it: The Martini) was very good. I wish I had room for more.

Seriously, this place rivals a nearby spot that is also amazing, but this is absolutely on par with my experience at the other place.

If you are in NOLA, you would be missing out if you didn't plan on at least one meal here.
