I’m just happy to have a dog park so close by! The only imperfections are: the grounds are very dusty because the dogs make it hard to have grass, and one water fountain is broken. But both of those things I chalk up to the difficulty of having a public park. These are not easy problems to solve.
I like the big space and it’s plenty for dogs to run around in. There are lots of benches, both in the sun and in the shade. I just recommend wearing boots when you come, or your old tennis shoes, so that you don’t get too disappointed when your footwear gets dusty or muddy.
There are usually lots of cars parked along the street, but nonetheless I still have a pretty easy time finding a spot.
It’s easy to spend hours at this park if your dog can handle it. It’s a great place to relax while your dog has some fun.

I can’t co-sign on the “great little park” reviews. I can co-sign that the people are really nice and friendly. It is a nice park with seating. Some is on the far end of the park ( where no one sits) and the rest is under trees —where everyone sits or stands. It’s a small park next to the neighborhood playground with no separation between large and small dogs. The area has a large amount of dirt. It fine if it didn’t rain recently, otherwise it’s muddy. Overall it’s a nice park but it depends on what your needs are

It's been hard finding dog parks that are open since Ida hit. This park was a life saver. My pups just needed an open space to run around and get out some energy. I got to talking with another dog owner, and she was very friendly. There were so many pups for my girls to play with. It's unfortunate that the pet water fountain wasn't working, so come prepared with a bowl. You can fill it from the human water fountain if need be.

Puppies get to play!!! Watch out for the large standing pool of muddy water, some dogs love this and you will be giving them a bath afterward!!

My little Lola bug was making friends! Great neighborhood park all around, not too big but plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs. Bonus great basketball courts and a cozy coffee house across the street.

Good dog park, like coming here. People are chill, very few aggressive dogs around and owners are often aware and take their dog elsewhere. Park is horrible after rains though, one big mud puddle. And there is no real good place for dogs to cool down. I've seen dog parks with small pools in there for the dog, that would be a very welcome addition to this park.

My dogs love this place and it is so nice to burn off some energy. After a rain there are tons of mud puddles so I wish they had some sort of doggie shower/hose. The people that go are always really friendly and have been tolerant of my rambunctious dog. Wish NORD would build more of these in other parts of the city. As you can see one of my dogs really enjoys the mud.
