Cafe Piyala

Chai shai, every kind of people visits there, environment is not it all family oriented... usually they stays outside in parking area. No proper parking space available, usually create traffic jams during peak hours.

Tried Chai + Puri Paratha and Channa / Daal.
Chai + Simple Paratha is nice combination.
Puri paratha is not recommended
No place for families i think.

The cup itself contains 2 times chai any other cup from any other dhaba has for the same price.
And drinking from the cup itself is a welcome change as well.

Tea taste is different from Pathan Hotels

Tea was good no doubt, paratha was also. A delightful combo .
But sometimes you have to compromise with the hygiene condition and the atmosphere overall. (jo baat he)

A place famous for Chai Paratha. It was really good. Apart from this Management and Hygiene conditions were not followed. Parking issues, traffic issues, pollution Including waste and noise, security issues found.

Cafe Piyala is no doubt, one of the most famous and influential tea spots in Karachi. You can also call it the original Cafe Piyala because after this, many many restaurants were open in the city with same or similar names and tea service style. The original Cafe Piyala is still on peak and located on the sub road going towards Sakhi Hassan from Water Pump.

There's always a crowd specially on the morning and night times. Other than tea they have full lunch and dinner options with many dishes.
