A Horrendous Dining Experience

Our experience at Ghalib Restaurant was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Despite arriving on time, we had to wait an excruciating 1.5 hours just to get a table. This was only the beginning of what turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had.

We ordered the BBQ platter, Mutton Signature Karhai, Reshmi Paneer Handi, and Daal Tarka. Each dish managed to be more disappointing than the last.

The Daal Tarka was sour and completely inedible. When we complained, the first waiter promised to change it. However, another waiter came over and had the audacity to say, “Sir, those who have been dining with us for a long time know our taste. Our daal is always like this.” The arrogance and unprofessionalism displayed were astounding.

The BBQ platter was utterly tasteless, lacking any semblance of flavor or seasoning. The Karhai was equally bland, and the mutton was undercooked, making it impossible to enjoy. The Reshmi Paneer Handi was substandard and failed to meet even the most basic expectations.

Overall, this was a very bad experience, especially since I had guests visiting from abroad. I am never coming back to Ghalib Restaurant again. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere.

The place is spacious, always recommended to make reservation, we ordered hot n sour soup and Peri bites, the soup was okay together with peri bites where its sauce was heavy, in the main we chose peshwari karhai, brain masala, seekh kebab, chicken reshami and parmesan spaghetti with prawns, the best one spaghetti, though all the dishes were loaded with oil which felt too much heavy for us, the sitting area had air cons but was out as tandoor was in-front of our seating, in the desert we ordered kulfi gulab jaman, chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream which almost took 25 min as cake is prepared fresh, the serving was okay but billing takes time with no reason, though i would recommend nothing much special in Ghalib, any resturant can offer the same.

My sister took me to Ghalib yesterday. We had to reserve a table in advance since it was the weekend and the place is quite popular. The outdoor seating was beautiful with mesmerizing views of the city, but we opted for the air-conditioned area.

We ordered a Fried Chicken Burger, Club Sandwich, Karhai Chicken, Shish Taouk, and mixed vegetables. The club sandwich was okay, and the fried chicken was good. The rest of the food was juicy and delicious.

We also cut a cake for my niece, and the management kindly played the "Happy Birthday" song on their speakers, which made the celebration even more special. The ambience and decor were spectacular. Highly recommended.

Great experience at this rooftop restaurant. The ambience was great, especially in the interior area. Our server was informativez and the food was excellent as well. I especially liked the signature mutton karahi, and the reshmi paneer handi. Highly recommend going here for special occasions.

Had a great time with my friends at Ghalib Restaurant. They told us that the waiting time was around 45 to 60 minutes but we got the table within half an hour. It was weekend so it's understandable.
The food was amazing. We ordered:

Shishtouk with rice and fries 5/5
Chicken parmesan steak 4/5
Double Decker beef steak 5/5
Moroccan steak 5/5
Brain Masala 10/5
Alfredo pasta 3/5 (The sauce was a bit watery)
Drinks were also 5/5

I would definitely recommend all of the above. When I tried the pasta for the first time during lunch hours, it was good so I hope that there might be some other chef who made it. Overall, we loved it!!!

Wastage of money. Food was disgusting. Now the good service and atmosphere are useless for sure.
Name Ghalib hasn't any logic or match with the theme. A mini bus there.. and copied interior all over from other restaurants... except the taste.
Not recommended and disappointed.

There’s a good selection of food, from different parts of the world. The brain masala was excellent. The chicken wings were not good.
The service staff is good but a little slow. Atmosphere and ambiance is great. Definitely worth a visit. Recommend making a reservation beforehand for large groups.
