Pretty little hike through a sea of ferns, but we were swarmed by stinging insects from under a footbridge (as mentioned by a previous reviewer).

Nice trail. Did a morning jog there today. There is a yellow jackets nest under one of the little bridges so be mindful of that - both my wife and I were stung while jogging there.

Very hard to find the beginning of this path so i’ve taken a photo from the outside. Beautiful trail.

My wife and I are novice hikers and we found this path enjoyable and fun. There was an area about midway on the path that was confusing because a large fallen tree blocked the path, yet had a green blaze just path it. That “just path it” wasn’t the correct blaze to follow and we found another one to the right of the tree that was correct. Other than that, path markings were pretty clear. (I also learned my wife is the superior blaze finder…which allowed me to enjoy the scenery.)
Another benefit to hiking at this time of year…no mosquitos or other nagging bugs. We plan to comeback again in future. Our “thanks” to all those maintaining this path.

Great hike very near the town center. There are markers along the trail but we did get lost for a few moments due to snow making it unclear where the path was. A few trees had fallen here and there but it looks like someone is making an effort to keep the trail maintained.

This is an easy hike with just enough to keep the walker/ hiker interested. Some of the trail goes over the path that I used to take when walking to Consolidated School. This trail gives you some water views of Kennebunkport and history - the 1947 fire wall for instance. A good walk if you are in a group or with kids.

Great trail!

Lovely clean soft & hard not difficult terrain fun for dogs and trekking
