Lovely fish and chip shop my mum them from there and very friendly

All ways go here a bit of a drive from were I live bit Great food Great prices and great portion sizes

Great chip shop part of bowthorpe road which is also a great chippy, personally the best this side of norwich

Really disappointed with the poor quality of food. The chips didn’t have any salt and vinegar (for some reason we weren’t offered any) I assumed they would come with salt and vinegar, but seemingly not

Also the chips were very bland to taste, not what you’d expect from a fish and chips.

My chicken burger didn’t have any salad, nor was it offered any. If you’re looking for a decent fish and chips go elsewhere, you’ll be disappointed.

They don’t do delivery which is amazing for a local place, basically no wait unless there’s a queue (because they’re in high demand) and they get through queues quickly longest wait here maximum 8 minutes amazing professional service I travel past 3 other chip shops to get here 11/10 going over a decade

I walk here most Friday lunchtime's & order for Dad & Me. We used to order 2 Cod & Chips but portions are so huge we now just share 1 Large Tail End Cod & 1 Medium Chips. The 2 ladies working here are really friendly & polite & they cook & serve piping hot, not greasy delicious tasting food. I sometime order an extra battered sausage or fishcake which I would also highly recommend. Just be aware no Card payments but Free cash machine right outside next door.

On the way back from my cycle ride on the Marriott's way, I was hungry enough to try the fish and chips from the Larkman fish bar. I asked for a small cod and chips, what I received was a beautiful large fish, crispy chips, and the drool from vinegar and salt. This place is a jem! I'm going back to try some of the other things they serve. I think it could do with outdoor seating and I really think they should have a card machine, at this time its cash only! With the constant stream of customers that i saw as I munched away outside I'm not sure the quality is a secret to the locals! Great place will go again.
