Coco Republic

Recently, a sales representative mislead us into paying for an item to “place it on hold for 24 hours“ while we worked out the finer details. They claimed that the sale price was only valid until midnight and if we paid quickly we could lock it in (this wasn't true, the sale continued for an additional two weeks). The next morning we decided that the item wasn’t quite right and when we tried to cancel we were informed that there would be a 50% "restocking fee" (~$3,500). The order hadn't yet gone through and at that point the money hadn't even left our bank account. Their defence was that we "should have read the fine print before buying". What a class act! We will appeal to the relevant authorities but I would avoid at all costs.

I have bought a sofa at Coco Republic Moore Park. It was exactly what I was looking for - great design and quality. The store staff Mehul was very kind and helpful and I was nicely surprised by his professionalism. Can't wait for my new sofa to arrive!

I ordered 2 bed side lamps in December.
on my original order it was coming Feb , then it’s been changed to late March when I rang there saying April , talk about keeping your customers in the dark

The store's ambiance and product range are top-notch, but it's the exceptional customer service that truly sets it apart.

I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews. We’ve had a trying order timing our delivery with the settlement of a new apartment.
Nicholas has been so helpful and flexible in aligning our dates, and informative along the way.
Coco was one of the only places that had the contemporary designs we were looking for at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately two of the items were delivered in a faulty condition (see image of one of the chips...). This has resulted in us having to follow up repeatedly. Very disappointing.

I had an opportunity to visit coco republic store in Moore park after visiting their Alexandria store a few times. Always felt it was a high end furniture store, however I met the consultant Vaishnavi at Moore park supa centre who was knowledgable, reassuring, explained why an product costs what it costs and was pretty helpful with her interior designing expertise. It was an absolute pleasure meeting someone who is passionate about her work and is service oriented rather than sales oriented. When you go in ask for this design consultant Vaishnavi who takes in a lot of care and consideration when setting up your new home.

Editing this review- The quality is great, the staff are super arrogant. Almost feels like we are begging them. The delivery is an absolute nightmare. The good story as I mentioned above ends once you pay the bill. Once they realise you have already paid, they don’t give a damn about you unless you are billing another $20k
