The Golf Club at Lansdowne

Lansdowne is pushed off a main road, you'd never know it was there. It's a very large facility (hotel and conferences I believe). I had stayed for a weekend a while back and had a great time but decided recently to just go to enjoy their spa. I've had the same massage therapist twice and he is amazing. The spa doesn't have too many amenities but if you're looking for something more than a Massage Envy (that's not for me) this is your spot, they have a quiet room, sauna, steam room, and whirl pool. The showers and changing area are very clean and private and they have bags of dries lavender for you to take home. The employees have always been very pleasant as well. I will say this last time though the coffee/tea station was not set up and the snacks were a bit lack luster (my prior visit everything was full and maintained). Last time I was also offered sparkling wine and I was not this time which I would have gladly enjoyed aa this was an early birthday treat to myself. The resort itself is great, there are a few pools to enjoy, a large gym, and they provide other activities depending on the time of year. I'd stay again and I will also continue to visit the spa as an outside guest.

Not impressed at all. One elevator for a packed house. No excuse!! Way too much money for low rate furnishings. Musty carpet in hallway. A/C did not cool room enough to sleep well. Food was outrageous. Do not expect peace and quiet around pool or spa. Never again!

Hosted a team event at Lansdowne. They did a great job making us feel like a valued guest. The signature scent was fabulous. The boat building team exercise was so much fun.

I would recommend

The buffet style lunch left a ton to be desired. There was literally nothing that I truly enjoyed. The best thing for me was the salad bar.

Everything was beautiful and staff was very guest oriented, as well as friendly.

A couple of courses, but both incredibly maintained! Service was great- and package from the stay at the hotel was awesome!

Great vibe very clean atmosphere..bathroom set up space could have been designed better but that's not a deal breaker..

We stayed here for a wedding. Fantastic venue..could not golf..but went for a hike and got some scenic views of Potomac..
