Casa Mia at the Hawthorne

This venue LOOKED average but the various dining rooms had a subtle odor like dampness, or mold or an old building, especially the large room that was set up for the function I was attending.
The buffet was totally EXCELLENT, the staff very attentive. Every 20 minutes there was a VERY loud buzzer/horn sound (a machine of some sort?)that lasted a minute or more, interrupting conversation but worse, a very emotional speech. Inexcusable.

Probably the best place we ate at on our visit. The food was super good and came out in a good time. The tables have thick white tablecloths. The servers were nice and refilled our drinks fast. I thought this was only a place for party’s, but you can actually sit down and eat like a regular restaurant. And it was the only place in the area. Plenty of parking and nice clean, big bathrooms.

AWESOME!! A+/Superlative service, food, ambiance, and band. Valente Brothers with Gina PHENOMENAL. Gina's voice is incredible! Great dance floor, has a disco ball, classy atmosphere. Cam was an excellent server!

We had a lovely experience at The Hawthorne Saturday. I worked with Lori and the food, service, and event for our family was well done! We had the Beautiful Buffet and the food was delicious, service was attentive, and room set up nicely. Thank you for an enjoyable family event!

Food was absolutely amazing and portions were awesome. I am on my second day of left overs and they still taste amazing. Took my wife out for Father's Day and it was a comfortable place with great service. Going to recommend it to my parents to try in the future.

We attended a youth swim team banquet at the Hawthorne. The room was updated and provided plenty of space for the 100 guests to dine and dance. The buffet was excellent. We especially enjoyed the charcuterie platter and chicken parm. The servers were attentive and very polite. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

My wife and I decided to try this place one Saturday night. We walked in the front door and were awkwardly greeted by the host asking us why we were there. Confused, I asked if this was a restaurant and can we get dinner? We were lead to the dining area that was empty besides one very large group celebrating someone’s birthday.

It immediately felt like we were crashing somebody else’s party. When we were seated the host asked if we have ever been there before and when I answered no, she just turned around and said let me get the waiter. I found that awkward.

As we sat there awkwardly while the large group around us celebrated, we decided this is not the place for us, so we left.

We did not get a chance to try the food. This may be a great place for an event, not so much for a dinner date. I probably will not try again, what a shame.
