Pasticceria Dolci e Dolcezze

Owned and operated by a self-taught Baker Dolci e Dolcezze has been serving Florence since the 1970s, its location on Piazza Cesare Beccaria secluded in a manner that gives everything inside and air of elegance and nostalgia.

A Cake Shop well known for Fruit Tarts, but also well-regarded for Cookies and Schiacciata, those arriving early will be happy to find items such as an hourglass shaped Pastry with Custard still warm while “Torta di Riso” takes on a different look thanks to a crisp Shell filled with Rice Pudding.

Not far from Piazza Santa Croce, a solo clerk slowed by multiple guests at 09h00, those not in the mood for a large Strawberry Tar should direct their attention to Viennoserie filled with Jam or a textbook Cornetti about to burst with Cream.

The best torta al cioccolato in Firenze. Also the lemon cake and all the desserts are exceptional.

An Italian colleague recommended this in answer to my query about the best panettone in Florence. And, indeed, this was by far the best panettone I’ve ever eaten. We ended up buying two to take home to share with colleagues in Japan.

Staff were exceedingly professional and kind, and the atmosphere was story-book perfect.

Can’t wait to go back to Florence and try their other goodies.

A super cute cafe for tarts and cakes, the tarts here are absolutely delicious. The creamy custard is not too sweet and the perfect texture, it pairs very well with fruit and the seating outside is very nice. I would defiantly recommend.

This is by far the very best pasticceria in Florence. It's strange how the tourists and crowds haven't discovered it. A true gem. Unparalleled cakes & biscuits.

Found this place whilst looking through some recommendations and HAD to visit immediately. The cafe is beautifully decorated with this stunning green and gold interior; its a little hole in the wall for you to get lost in. The desserts and pastries itself were also amazing. The raspberry pastry I tried was super flaky, and the chocolate dessert (with dates? i’m not sure) was super addicting. Will definitely be going back!

I walked here every day and was always so curious. One day I stopped and got a few desserts. I have to say this place is very good and not packed with tourist like other spots. I would definitely come back for more pastries.
