My friends and I spent two days (June 22-23) at SJA, where we were taught by Ahmed. He is both professional and excellent.
The class was very informative but a bit overwhelming due to our tight schedule. With so much knowledge to cover in just two days, we felt a little bit overloaded after lunch.
Nonetheless, SJA is still highly recommended as a great place to earn your First Aid certificate. I am thrilled to have completed it over the weekend. My knees still hurt from all the hands-on practice kneeling on the ground, reminding me of the rewarding journey and fond memories with our instructor Ahmed.

Clean, spacious facility. I wish ventilation was better - air gets stuffy, your brain stops processing due to luck of oxygen. If you have a full day of instruction, two 15 minutes breaks and one 40 minutes break are provided. There is a nice lunch room with a microwave available. Plenty of parking. The 2 day course was very informative.

Instructor Janis Boltman was great. To the point and very informative. Attentive and helpful. This has been my third time being first aid certified. I am content that I received the most information out of the two days spent in the course. I went for work, but I'd strongly recommend this for anyone looking to improve their skill set in general. Five stars

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Our company has been training employees with St. Johns exclusively. This year there was an error on our part and they refused to reschedule it due to policy and said that we would have to pay them the full cost twice.
Horrible customer service. They also charge more than pretty much all the other places.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else, like SOS. They charge $70 less for standard and you get CPR C which covers CPR A. St. John's charges $180 for A.

Excellent!!! l enjoyed very much the first aid training. The trainer was very skilled and professional. He was very patient and empathetic with all the students. I am very grateful for all the information and acknowledge shared.

Best place for health and safety training. Very safe environment for the classes in this time of pandemic, physical distancing observed in class. All surfaces sanitized regularly.

I cannot recommend this class highly enough. I learned so much potentially life saving information. The instructor,David, made the class fun and interesting. The world is a safer place because of the work they do here.

They recommended for an AED cabinet and then sold me a CPR Mask Hard Shell and then sold me the replacement valves. Our medical professional at the centre (ER Doctor) said an average CPR trained person is not trained to use the mask. When I came to return it at St. John, they said, well, in the medical emergency, the person should read the instructions. They charged me a 15% restocking fee for the mask and refused to take the valves back saying they weren't "sealed" when they were in a plastic bag. They later changed their mind and said they usually don't take back product. I'm not coming back here even to get trained again or for any products :(
