MyGovindas Restaurant Silicon Oasis

Ordered the special thali through Smiles app and it was amazing. Great value for money, all of the items were fresh, hot and full of flavor. Arrived quickly. Definitely recommend!

Clean and spacious seating with good ambience. The staff were polite. The breakfast menu is very cheap and is only aed 10 which is amazing. There is free parking available inside the building. Food was fine. We had the Bombay sandwich and chole bhattura with tea. Bombay sandwich was normal and chole bhattura felt a bit thicker than usual. The curry was good. Tea was great. Peaceful ambience and wasn't crowded at all during a weekday.

I recently visited MyGovinda’s at Silicon Oasis during their Mango Mania promotion, and it was a disappointing experience. Despite their extensive promotion on social media, we found that most of the mango-themed items were unavailable. Out of the 12-14 items advertised, only 4-5 were actually available.

We drove a long way specifically for this promotion, only to feel misled by their advertising. One particular letdown was the Mango Puri. They served a tiny amount of mango juice—barely 100ml—and three small puris. Considering the high price, it felt like we were served a child’s portion for the cost of 3kg of mangoes.

I strongly advise against going to MyGovinda’s for Mango Mania; it’s simply not worth it. On a positive note, the Paneer Kadai and Mirchi Paratha were good, but nothing extraordinary.

While the food is decent, there are plenty of other vegetarian restaurants in the area that might offer a better experience.

Visited govinda's based on our experience at karama branch.

Food quality and taste was bit low compared to the multiple experience we had at karama branch.

The service was OK. We got the ordered dishes on time. Had 2 curries, brocoli soup, Hyderabad biriyani and roti basket. Except roti basket, rest was good.

The entire positive experience of govinda's brand had put down by the counter staff. There was an active offer for zomato gold members where the savings would be close to AED 45 for our bill but the staff was not ready to accept the payment via zomato. He was claiming the menu rates has already discounted and we can't accept payment through Zomato with additional discount. It was not a good experience where he has forced to accept when we were reluctant to pay the full amount.

Informed the situation to zomato in parallel but restuarant team was not addressing the calls from zomato purposefully.

Overall not a good experience, will try to avoid going to silicon oasis branch.

The food was great, we had gone for lunch and ordered thali..items are unlimited if you take thali. My kids didn't like the pasta as there was no cheese on it. Rest all tasted good. But if you are going to buy some gravy separately it’s gonna be pricy. A gravy dish we ordered for our kid as thali sharing is not allowed was equivalent to thali price and price of naan is separate , its better to go for thali. Kids are not going to eat a complete thali and it would be wasteful, but the next time i go i better order thali only.surely we will be going more as i liked the taste.

My Govindas has been one of my favourite vegetarian restaurants for over 10 years. It is a great place for some delicious North Indian food and their natural ice creams. My recommendations are the chaat, the kulhad biryani and kulhad pasta. Reasonably priced considering the ambience and quality of food.

Parking is available on the backside of the restaurant and is free. Though the number of dedicated parking slots for restaurant is less.👍

They have in-house Ice-Cream counter with fresh food flavours.👍

The Waste-bin size is ultra small for such a restaurant…..! Needs a bigger size bin.( photo attached)☹️☹️☹️

Overall nice place with good ambience with Krishna Bhajans playing in the background.

Recommended in Dubai Silicon Oasis.👍
