Huitlacoche Taqueria Restaurant

I use to order from here back in 2012 to 2020. I would always get their chicken and steak tacos Mexican style. Sadly I went last week and the chef must have changed or they changed their ingredients for their steak tacos. The steak tacos tasted different and I didn’t like them at all. Luckily I had gotten some sourcream and the green sauce to cover the taste of the meat. Next time I’ll just stick to the chicken tacos.

The food was way too expensive for what I ordered. 2 small pork tacos and a sprinkle of Shreeded cheese should tcost $17.69. And the pork was the part of the pig that has a consistency of rubber. Some of it was very good but the bad parts were bad. The food was ready quickly and waiting for me to pick up and the front desk guy was nice.

I ordered on DoorDash. I had the chiles rellenos but was very disappointed when I tried to take a bite, chiles poblanos are supposed to be peeled before preparing the chiles rellenos, they were very hard to chew on so I couldn’t eat them, either the cook doesn’t know how to prepare chiles rellenos or they want to cut the preparing time. For the price you’d expect better food.
Not ordering from huitlacoche taqueria again.

I went there ordered some flautas that cost 17$ another main that cost 14, a taco of 4 which is a total of 35$. And they decided to charge me 48$. Because I was on date, I didn't want to argue I. But I think is a disgrace that they decide to put that total, and their own tip without asking. The food was okay. Nothing special .... I hope they read this. And send me the actual check and review and charge me what the actual price was

Super disappointing food. We ordered 2 burritos we couldn’t barely find the meat, no beans and no avocado as it said in the description. Just full of rice and even the rice wasn’t that good, and we paid $30!! I called to complain and the guy said “sorry that’s how we serve them”. Never gonna order here again.

We spent $116 to have cold food delivered that had absolutely no flavor!! The quesadillas weren’t cooked properly and everything was cold. We wanted Mexican food and the only thing that was edible was the burger which isn’t even Mexican. How is this a quesadilla??
