Great spot to visit in the evening to see the beautiful NYC skyline. Be sure to check out the bagel spot that's up the street. If you're coming from NYC, take the 128 line to Jersey gate 212.

Visiting the Weehawken World War One Memorial was a remarkable experience for me. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty and grandeur of the memorial. The statue, "The Spirit of the American Doughboy," stands strong and proud, serving as a moving tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The statue was incredibly detailed, and its placement in a quiet, serene setting made it feel even more powerful. Additionally, the surrounding plaques detailing the names of local heroes who lost their lives in the war made the experience even more poignant.

The staff on-site was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing more context to the monument and the significance of the war. The decision to preserve and honor this important part of our history deserves recognition and appreciation.

Overall, visiting the Weehawken World War One Memorial was an emotional and profound experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to honor and remember the sacrifices of our past heroes. Therefore, I give this memorial a 5-star rating. If you find yourself in the area, take the time to visit this beautiful and meaningful memorial.

A hilltop memorial for the brave and deceased, who fought defending the country whose most magnificent and majestic city sprawls out across the other side of the water in a panoramic image that is both idyllic and mythical, almost utopian. Even on noisy days in the summer, an air of absolute peace hangs over this memorial.
