Somewhere between April and late May geese have their goslings in toe, this is my favorite time to visit and see a uniqueness of nature that's usually hidden. They also have a Nature House open during the summer months and activities for kids, as well as gorgeous walking trails for adults. Be aware there are some areas where dogs can't go as they want the wildlife to be comfortable, especially with the goslings not being able to fly for a portion of the year. Just like anywhere as long as you keep a respectful eye on how you interact with the area and local wildlife it will be able to be around for others to enjoy in the future

Warner Loat is a perfectly fine dog park, it serves its purpose. It does also have a hose to clean off your dog if you need to, but I do find it gets pretty muddy in the rain, so my dog is always a mess when we get out of there lol. Beware the many dog holes.

The off-leash dog park is well fenced in with double gates at 2 entrances. Makes it handy to get leash on and off without the chaos of other dogs around. Lots of parking right at the entrance. Also a very handy water fountain and hose for cleaning and dog drinking. Lots of natural features around to make it interesting for them, not just a gravel lot. The people are friendly and the dogs have a great time!

Great off-leash dog park. The road in & out is a bit dicey tho. Nice public restrooms.

It’s for walking dog. Views are not special. It seems that there’re archery for people to play in the park but it was closed.

Small secluded area. Plastic barriers around invasive plant species. Close to Burnaby Lake if you want to go for a longer walk.
