Probably the highlight of my trip. The scenery of downtown Portland was captivating. Watching the sunset was purely magical. Great place for a picnic, practice yoga, read a book, work on an assignment or to serenade your boo thang.
Beautiful view of the city. No playground, but plenty of room for kids to run around. And one picnic table.
In 19 years I've never been to this park. Someone.who works for the city suggested it for the eclipse viewing and it was perfect. Nice view, not too crowded. Easy to get a parking spot. Will come back with my lunch soon.
Worth the hike uphill to see the view - and sunsets.
The best sunset view in Portland. Or night time viewing. On a clear day you can see Mt. Washington to the right as you stand overlooking the city. It's a great spot and a must see when visiting Portland.
Easily accessible and a very nice view during Sunset. Good to go sit and chill for a little. Parking may be an issue, so it would be ideal to get there with time to look for a parking in the residential area.
