We got into town later than expected, this was the only place open after 3pm. Or we'd be waiting till 8pm to have our first meal. Food was good, decent selection and the staff was good to us.
Place looked nice and waitress was very kind and spoke English.
The "greetings from the kitchen" were tasty and well presented.
The food was horrible: Burger ment meat with nothing. Fries were brown and old.
Spaghetti Carbonara were disgusting.
Mojito was without crushed ice and tasted like medicine.
Overall price was incredible high and not at all justified.

Cozy restaurant located at the intersection of two arteries of the city of Herculaneum: one that connects the highway with the area of the Vesuvian Villas and the archaeological excavations of the ancient city, and the other that leads to the center where the banks and ATMs are located . In this location typical Italian and Neapolitan cuisine is served: the chef offers different specialties every day for tourists and local customers to taste. Therefore the possibility of exchanging small talk and conviviality with the friendly local people. Affordable prices. Wide range of wines. The kindness and hospitality of the staff are the main ingredient.
They offered a gluten free lasagna, which should take about 20 min. In the end, we waited for more than 50 min and it was lukewarm. Taste was good, service really bad. No indication of prices, “tourist menu” was a trap (we paid more and got less water). We were the only guests apart from another couple.
We waited 50 minutes for a less than warm lasagna, really disappointing. We were almost the only guests so it wasn't busy at all. The fusilli tasted fine, but don't outweigh the waiting time.
In the end the bill was super arbitrary and did not match the prices indicated on the signs outside. Felt like a total scam!

Divino is located in a hub for Ercolano, and provides great service. The staffing is excellent and extremely attentive to details. We went twice in our stay and both times they were super courteous, especially on the second visit, providing us a couple of extra add-ons without charge. They do a great job with the food as well. My girlfriend can't have gluten, and the GF dishes are great, as are regular dishes. The GF ones are made by scratch, which made them even better! The ravioli and lasagna I had were spectacular, with tons of flavor to absorb. They also have a camaraderie of desserts to choose from, and even went so far the second time as to MAKE Gluten Free desserts!
Needless to say, if I lived here, I'd DEFINITELY come back!
