I gave it 3 stars due to the fact the slides and access to the slides are not ideal for my 3.5 yr old. Every way up was pretty much ideal for older kids aware of danger or falling if you misstep.

There is 1 small slide on the fire engine but it was for even younger kids and besides that there was only 1 infant swing. We just stayed on the swings the whole time there. He was actually afraid of the large slides which he never has been afraid of slides they're his favorite playground activity.

There was also a hive in the information post located next to the swings and it was just annoying after a while.

Did see some people on quads and motorbikes coming out of the trail. I overheard someone say they were not allowed.

The rock wall was cool but again, couldn't really use it.

I missed the entrance to the park. It's not clearly visible but I am not from the area so not a big deal. It is hidden down a rocky road next to a closed field (I assume someone's property). It was very pretty and peaceful though!

Decent amount of parking and clean.

It's a nice small playground. Great for young children as it is way off the road and quiet. The only issue was that there aren't any bathrooms.

Great playground, nice hiking trails - they have a Story walk! Two sections of playground for different ages. Lots of shade. Picnic tables available, no bathroom facilities.

I like this playground pretty well for probably age 2 and up, after our first visit today. There was more shade than most, though anytime near noon I imagine it would be harder to find (in fact my 3 year old wouldn't go down one slide because it was "too hot," I think that's a normal problem at playgrounds if the sun has been beating on it a while). There is equipment clearly intended to satisfy all ages of kids toddler and up, which is very thoughtful. LOTS of climbing options, and my 3 year old loves that, so bonus if that's an interest. Three nice, shaded, metal, great condition picnic tables next to each other, I overheard another mom say people have birthday parties there. The only negative for me was my crawling/cruising baby couldn't play with much of anything, and there was only 1 infant swing... that was it for him. I couldn't even sit on the ground to play with him, since it's all wood chips mixed with dirt, and pavers in the picnic table area -- basically, some grass to lounge on would have been best for his age... he happily stayed in the swing, thankfully. So nice to have a trail to walk nearby, though we didn't have time to try it.

They have activies for most ages, swings slides, jungle gym, space to run around. There is an adjacent walking trail (never tried it). Parking is always pretty easy. Road in and vegetation need better upkeep, but it's not horrible. I feel safe bringing my 2 year old here.

Great little playground. Nice variety of structures with swings. Easy hiking trails adjacent. Small parking lot shared with hikers. Only drawback if you're going with fast kids: not fenced in and parking lot is right next to playground.
