I grew up in Franklin and have many fond memories about wandering the halls, doing research for a paper, admiring the artwork, sitting under the big trees outside. I still go there when I'm in the area and love that Franklin has such an amazing piece of history to be proud of. Librarians are very helpful, can direct you to the exact place you need to be for any book you might be looking for. I hope we never outgrow libraries, especially Ben Franklin.
It was a necessary visit; to renew my expired library card. Turns out I wasn't even in the system anymore.
Annoying practice - requiring a physical visit to renew. But it was a nice enough exchange with Rachel at the Circulation Desk.
The facilities are excellent - though parking was a bit scarce at 2pm on this Saturday.
