The food is good it's like a homely malvani restaurant & it's right next to highway

Okay Okay food, not so Delicious, Looks Good But lacks somewhere when you go for Sea Food. That Zaika of Sea Food is missing.
Ok for Small occasions. Or budget dinner.
No Parking Space for Car... You can Park Bike outside at your own Risk.

Nice Malvani food - I ordered for surmai fry, chapati, mutton masala, prawns masala and Rice.
They don't have much seating capacity. Located on the aarey road, goregaon, close to Goregaon east.

Delicious malvan foood at good price range. You will find all kinds of fish fry, curries here in malvan style. The orange chutni that they give with every thali is my fav😅. Do visit this place or order the amazing delicacies.

Simple yet amazing tasty food!- summary of my visit to this tiny gem hidden in Goregaon East. The place is not that big but it houses one of the best Kombi Wade’s I have ever tasted. The price is also reasonable for the quantity. The taste is very rich and the spices used are also quite taste.
I had order one kombi wade which came with extra curry, chicken masala, 5 big side wade, onion, solkadi and some chutney. Overall the food was very good. The taste of the wade was also very yummy.
The hotel is located right on Aarey Road towards Goregaon East railway station. I found it easy to locate this place. The staff is very humble.
They even accept UPI / Paytm payment options.
I would rate this 10/10

Yesterday, due to Ganesh Visarjan..the roads in Mumbai were empty ..empty means no bumper to bumper traffic..hence we made an impromptu plan to drive down to Goregaon..we use to live in this western suburb of Mumbai years ago..this entire western stretch including Versova ,Madh etc are full of tiny Malvan Katta eateries where they serve authentic Malvani food and fresh fish ..One of these is Malvan Katta just at the junction of Goregaon East a few mins drive from Oberoi Mall..use to be our to go place then ..so we brought our son here today for lunch..The food like always simple, fresh and delicious..tiny restaurant but very clean ..and super pocket friendly..a few pics for all of you..We had Surmai fry ,Bombil fry/ Bombay duck ,Bangda fry/ mackerel / prawns fry .the son had chicken masala with vadi and solkadi ..I gulped down a bottle of coke ..

The place can be described as a no-frills restaurant. It gives you an old world 80s-90s Udipi vibe with sunmica coated chairs and tables. The restaurant is very small so seating may be a problem for a large group, be prepared to spilt if so.
The Prawn thali was priced at 340/- with taxes which I found a bit exorbitant for the set-up I was in, but it definitely delivered on flavour and quantity. In fact if you’re not very hungry and are a moderate eater, the thali could be split between two.
The deep fried prawns were crisp, which complemented the thick prawn gravy and the thinner fish curry. The vadas, which I asked for instead of the chapatis were on point.
Overall, a good experience with no frills but a bit more for the ambience, than what you may want to pay.
