Great place to stroll around with man's best friend.

Great spot to take your dog the first time. It’s not a large beach where your dog will be able to do long runs, especially towards the end of the day. You’ll find parking a few blocks away. Always respect the local residents home and space.

The year-round dog beach is an absolute paradise for canine companions! With its open access for dogs to run and swim from 8 am to 12 noon, it's a haven of joy for both pets and their owners. I've found that going early ensures snagging a parking spot, allowing us to make the most of our beach adventure. It's a fantastic way to let your furry friend enjoy the sand, surf, and sun, making unforgettable memories together.

Nice strip of beach for the dogs to run and swim. I wish it was open more than 3 hours a day and that there was some allowance for dogs off leash.

It was shocking to go with my dog and have a rather uncomfortable experience, to keep it short of words... the locals don't seem to like "outsiders" coming to enjoy the beach with their dogs. Other then that beach was delightful.
Was looking for a dog beach in NY and this place came up. My pup loved it! Came during memorial day. All other pups and their hoomans were nice. Will be back! As many other reviews have stated: "go during low tide" or you'll probably think the beach is 30 feet by 10 feet like some other reviews on here have written 🤭. And yes parking might be a little annoying but it's worth the added steps if you already came out wanting your pup to have a good time!

A little less than ideal. There is no parking there so you have to find some other street parking and almost all of it is designated no parking. When you do find a legal parking spot you still get a ticket (this happened to me). Also, you can't close the gate so it's not that secure for the dogs. Very small beach but that's ok. Opal swam on her own for the first time during high tide.
