Carl Schurz Park Dog Runs

2 good dog parks here for big and small pups! There's thankfully lots of space to run, but when they do they get real dusty and it really shows on my black Giant Schnauzer... she looks like a salt n pepper GS after leaving here. Overall, great spot, great location, and awesome community of dog lovers checking in daily here on dogpack. It makes it so much easier to know who's there, that I just rely on that.

Park would be great but there is a huge puddle of mud that forms where the hose is and never seems to dry up. Please fix this. The dogs get muddy and disgusting and it is a big deterrent.

If you have a dog who likes to run around, you’ll love the Carl Schurtz Dog Run that overlooks the Promenade and the East River. When we were there,it was being power washed! The park is kept spotless and clean which is great for you and your dogs!

Good food run. Lols of dogs there to play with. Great views of the East River.

Great dog parks! Love the bigger dog one best. Clean and has a hose for water in the summer. They can definitely get dusty playing, but it’s worth it with the space they have to run. My little guy loves it! It’s also along the East River and nice to take a walk up there afterward!

A small park on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Beautiful gardens, lawns, playgrounds, and the East River walkway next to it.

Nice place to bring your 4 legged loved ones 🐕 for a walk or run! Great place to spend time with family, friends, kids and kids at heart! A long stretch of concrete pavement along the East River and a view of Roosevelt Island and lighthouse. Your choice of activity.
