One of the prettiest city squares...unfortunately like many other places in the city surrounded by steel bars...lets hope they wont be necesary in the near future......
We bought lots of old vintage vinyl, Tango tunes as gifts to Europe
It’s a great place to spend time alone with friends or family. It’s clean and good set up. Books available, music and places for children to play. All handy: bars restaurants grocery stores. Beautiful nature inside
A nice, busy park with tons of old bookstores. CDs and otter small stuff. Everyone busy with their own thing and a nice place for events. The bad side, there are no public WCs or hidden somewhere I couldn’t find.
Buenos Aires has a lot of nice metro parks. This park is within walking distance of the blue A Metro line.
There's also a decent shopping mall two blocks to the west (Caballito) and any places to shop and eat in between.
To the far west corner of the park many vendors have stand setup selling books. It seems to be pretty popular with the locals if you're into buying, trading or selling used books.
The park is particularly busy in the evening during the cooler hours of the day. It's a great place to come and relax for a while and big enough that you don't hear as much of the city noise in the background.
