Been wanting to try this place for over 14 years but I've always been going to the airport instead
I was happy to be dropping someone else off today and my wife and I stop by.
It was exactly what I expected.
The menu was extensive the building was clean nobody was in there because it was approximately 4:00 a.m.
I had a Philly cheese steak and mushroom omelette with hash browns Texas Pete sauce, and an English muffin with butter.
Also had coffee with cream, no shug.
She had eggs benedict, with grits and a hot chocolate.
It was very good can't wait to go back again.

During lunchtime when I went it’s pretty quiet so there’s rarely a wait.

Do not sleep on the Hot Biscuit. My husband and I happened upon this place after a long flight. It’s not a fancy place, but the food is good, especially the breakfast and the staff… so friendly.
The biscuits were indeed hot, and the gravy flowed like the mighty waters of the Niagara. The waitress was charming and my breakfast was delicious. A great spot for travelers staying in nearby hotels who want to experience American diner food.
It’s like a Dennys. Had the number 5. Eggs hash browns and pancakes. Ordered the side toppings for pancakes strawberries and bananas, They were out of banana. And the strawberries were frozen, I thought they would be fresh. The food was all good. And actually kinda cheap.
The service was ok, the servers were friendly and kind but forgetful. It’s okay I feel like they were busy and understaffed.

You’re probably reading this because you’re in the Hilton, and don’t want to pay $12 for a basic continental breakfast. For that same $12, you can get a MUCH better breakfast here. The chicken fried steak wasn’t half bad for the price. I am not sure if it is always like this, but when I went, it was not a buffet like some of the reviews implied.
Stopped by out of strong interest to explore. Tried their chopped beef and pancakes. The food and their service were good. Will likely make this place my pit stop when flying out of IAH.
