I came here every other day, last visit ~8 years ago throughout my entire childhood. I have many, many fond memories. Adult swim always peeved me, I was a very good swimmer!

Great pool and great place to work. Spent two summers here as a swim coach and 6 as a member. Could not recommend more. Please disregard my other review as a mistake was accidentally made and I cannot delete the post

We have been members of the pool for 4 years. As warm weather begins, we count down the days until the pool opens for the season! My family of 5 always likes to participate in Friday Family Nights.... movies for the kids & fellowship for the adults! It’s win win. Swim team, dive team, tennis, playground, & basketball court.... there’s something for everyone! I’m so grateful for the friendships that we’ve made at the pool over the years!

I’ve been a member for couple years and I’ve really come to enjoy Wood Valley Swim Club. The Friday family nights are always a great time. I found it instructors to teach my kids swim there also.
I would recommend.
I would recommend.

Great local club with swim, dive and tennis teams. Family oriented, friendly people, food trucks and themed parties throughout the season. Serves members outside of Wood Valley and updated Clubhouse for rental.

The treatment we received was beyond disappointing and humiliating. We were guests of a child's birthday party here. The first incident happened when I decided to take my daughter to the kiddie pool, the door to the pool was propped open. I walked in and sat on the chair that was there, within 5 mins a gentleman walked over to me and very disrespectfully said "THE DOOR CAN NOT REMAIN OPENED ITS AGAINST POLICY"and proceeded to walk away. I tried to explain to him the door was open when I got there, but I didn't even get a chance. Later on as I sat down at a table, minding my business in front of this gentlemen, that I later found out his name was Mr. Craig Wooster. I over heard him and a lifeguard , named Ansley, talking about how the kids weren't listening to them and being rude. During this time the pool was on break, a child no older then 5 jumped into the pool, Mr. Wooster proceeded to yell at the child "YOU OUT OF THE POOL YOU'RE DONE! GET OUT NOW" in my opinion Mr. Wooster as a responsible and professional adult should have ask the child to get out and direct him to his parents. He needed to address the parents directly or the person in charge of the party, not a 5 year old child. He then rudely addressed everyone at the party over a loud speaker how there are rules and policies that need to be followed, or the pool would be closed. I totally agree there are rules and policies for a reason, however his attitude was uncalled for. The birthday child's parents approached him to talk, words were exchanged which followed with Mr. Wooster saying "hey buddy calm down or I will shut down your party". Mr. Wooster sat back down and a lady came to sit next to him and he started to tell her what was going on. Speaking very loudly and he stated "this jackass is going to threatening me does he not know who I am? I will shut down the party real quick, I hope these people paid ahead of time. I can't stand these kind of people?" I'm really curious as to what kind of people he was referring to? This was a kids party, and kids can get out of hand, no one is disputing that, however the demeanor and attitude of Mr. Wooster towards the kids was uncalled for. You're supposed to be a profesional adult, act like it with everyone. In my opinion Mr. Wooster was far from that, and tried everything he could to ruin a 9 year old girl's birthday.

DIVING BOARDS! I miss having a diving board. This pool, while small, is well configured, with a deep diving area with two diving boards, a shallow area for the smaller kids, and a main area with lanes and a play area.
Also has grills, tables with umbrellas, a playground, and basketball court.
Did I mention, the only neighborhood pool I've been to in Raleigh with actual, functioning, fun diving boards.
