Girls at the front counter are amazing and really friendly! Absolutely had a blast for a day date with my husband! Loved getting to feed the giraffes. It was an amazing experience! Prince the Peacock is awesome! (I just wish parents wouldn’t let their children torment him) We have went back twice since then. We loved the new cafe the 1st time! The 2nd two times not so much. Just don’t order the pizza and get burger and fries. Other than that everything has been extremely special and if you go towards the Evening hours it’s a perfect date setting.

Nice little zoo to visit with plenty of parking. We went right around 4pm on a Saturday, walked right in with no wait and purchased tickets at the door. If you are going during a prime rush time I highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time online to avoid more wait time. Also if you want to feed the giraffes there is a three dollar extra fee per person and you must do so before 7pm.

Me and my wife visited the this place on a Thursday evening. We had such a great time learning about the animals and getting to feed the giraffes. The animals were up close and active around the evening, which was awesome to see. Food and drink options are very mid at best, but you're not going to the zoo for the food. The lions, giraffes, and bear exhibits are our favorites. Also check out the painted dogs, flamingos, and river otters. If you're lucky, you'll pass by the zoo peacock that walks around. This is an amazing place for dates and hanging out with friends. Great job Potawatomi Zoo, staff, and zoo keepers!

This is my beloved zoo from my childhood that I still go to many times a year and recently was there for my 62 birthday so I've enjoyed it for a long time. Our entire zoo staff are amazing, dedicated, kind, compassionate and hard working individuals who are constantly looking for ways to evolve our zoo into the wonderful experience it is. The zoo is kept immaculate, the animals very well cared for, landscape is beautiful. New food court this year, " the lodge" with a viewing area for the bear exhibit. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly, restrooms very clean. Great family experience, everyone is friendly and even met a new friend there! Membership is available and well worth it, gift shop with many wonderful things to offer. I'm going back several times as I always do, hope to see you there!

Went for my daughter's birthday. Wasn't very crowded and very nice. Q lil warm so a lot of the animals were just lying around. Don't blame them, they were still awesome.
Alot of empty exhibits. Also do they ever have actual food sold there?
Still nice. Was there about an hour and had a great time. Bring smaller bills then $10 or you can't get food for feeding fish and petting area.

Nice and clean zoo with lots of animals to look at. I don’t like seeing super small enclosures so it was nice to see their disclaimer for some of them. Some of the larger animals definitely deserve more room, specifically the snow and Amur leopards, as well as the lions. The bison and kangaroos have a large area but the big cats seem to have smaller ones. Either way it was a nice facility.

My 3 kids ages 6,7, and 9 along with some friends traveled to the Potawatomi Zoo this June!

We had an amazing day! The grounds were beautiful! Flowers in bloom everywhere. Nice wide and clean sidewalks throughout the whole park.
Nice variety of animals to see.

Giraffes, the baby prarie dog, flamingos, and otters were the talk of the ride home.

Wonderful zoo!
