Great park. Lots of homeless people, but rarely any issues. The tennis courts are nice if you can find an opening. The dog park is awful, loud, unkempt, and nobody goes there, but we have Rancho, so no need to bother with Whitaker's. Watch your step because a lot of the rodent holes are deep! Playground and grass seem well maintained.

The park itself is quite nice but the enclosed dog park is not so nice. It's not well kept, narrow and the freeway noise is very loud.

Whittaker Park is an awesome park located at 6th and Washington. I usually sit by a certain tree and meditate before I go home from work.

Nice park, bathroom are kept clean. Lots of shade. Tennis, playground, horseshoe pits, and a good place to exercise. As I do. Some homeless, but no more tents. Even they as well as everybody is really friendly there. It's in a nice neighborhood.

One of my favorite Reno parks. Even tho it's a small park the diversity of trees is second to none. Tennis courts, and a beautiful playground for the kids this small park has it all. There is even a little dog park. Plus plenty of squirrels for your fur babies to whine and bark at.

Mildly taken care. Noisy as it is by the freeway and not well taken care of fencing. However, there is some shade, and it's large. There is some homeless tents above the dog area, so it's a bit sketchy.

Nice little city park. Pavillion with grill and tables to prepare and serve food, and it's covered to escape the sun. There are also tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and a fairly decent playland for kids with a slide. Also two regular and two child sized swings. One very impressive thing is that it's a little higher than downtown and gives a great breeze.

🐕BooBoo had a Great time! She played her heart out🙃!! I enjoyed myself as well. The park was very nice, it has plenty of room for the dog's to run and play. I do recommend that you bring some water for your pup, we were unable to find a water source within the park. We hope you enjoy the 🐩DOGGIE PARK as much as BooBoo🐶 and I😍!!
