I have been watching the volunteers with the wild horses near my house for a few years now. This year I started volunteering To help care for the orphan foals. It is so great what this organization does to save the lives of these little ones. They work around the clock to care for our wild horses in Northern NV.

I am so grateful for the tireless work of the volunteers at WHC, for decades these people have been striving to keep our wild beauties safe doing whatever it takes.💕✨💕 Thank you!

Had a herd horses eating grass on our yard which they've done for years. Some employee walked onto our property and asked to give medication to a horse on our property. Told her no and told her to get off our property. So, she shooed the horses off our yard. Super unprofessional to think it's okay to walk on people's property

The numbers of horses have increased since these guys came on board. 2900 head in 2018 and over 3500 in 2022. This per Ag Department counts. According to Ag 300-500 is an acceptable number. They are doing nothing to decrease the numbers. The native wildlife has been virtually eliminated in the Virginia Range.

They do more harm than good. They often chase away these poor animals that are just looking for a place to eat (which is scarce after the many buildings being added to Carmella Ranch and affordable housing). These animals will respect you if you respect them. We moved into their neighborhood, they didn't move into ours . We have no right to chase them away which outs them in even more dangerous matters. Pushing herds into freeways isn't going to help anything.

They work 24/7 all volunteers to help the horses to get to safety on the range out of neighborhoods and have several in rescue. Helping also with LRTC.

I moved to a semi rural area specifically for the beauty of the area, including the horses.
These guys think it’s “in the horses best interest” to relocate them in winter to a more sparsely vegetated area. And to feed them straight hay, which is super bad for their stomachs.
Spoiled alert, the horses came back and the watchdog NGO thinks it’s their duty to remove what was placed here by nature long before people and especially long before this wack nimby group ever came into consideration.
