Crystal Ballroom

What a great venue in Somerville! I was able to attend Mapache at the Crystal Ballroom and the acoustics in the room were great for a four piece band. The venue itself is very clean and easy to navigate around. There is ample bar space (it depends on how many bartenders are working for line efficiency). The bathrooms are nice and clean. Definitely recommend using the space or seeing a show there.

We were lucky and were able to get tickets to catch Lady Wray with Brain Story! Excellent performers. Lots of fun. Great audience response! Very nice 2 tiered venue, nice big stage with fun house lighting and dynamic sound. Easily accessible, good restrooms, great local food venues for before the show had very good food and Somerville has a nice ambiance with some outdoor sidewalk seating. At the show, the in house bar was convenient. Overall, great experience!

Saw The Reverend Horton Heat at the crystal ballroom. The ballroom is a pretty cool place. Not a bad place to view the band from anywhere you stand. My only bad experience was with a bartender with a bad attitude. Also, you should arrive to shows early because finding a parking spot can take some time.

I've been here several times for live music shows. The room is beautiful and has great sound. For a large ish venue it feels comfortable. There are booths in the back if you need a little break and plenty of stalls in the bathroom. Excellent features for a venue.

Amazing venue for events. Great stage, great seats, large venue big bar beautiful place highly recommended for events or to hang out... I'm not sure if they have regular dance or club nights... I went for an event and was impressed

Saw Princess Chelsea and her gang here on 12/5. Everyone was super nice, the venue was lovely and I love how much room we had on the floor and how much room the band had to go hog wild. I can tell they had fun!

i like the crystal ballroom, close and cheap parking nearby (i am typically able to find free parking), seating if needed, nice staff as long as you are a normal and decent human being. only thing i didn’t was that they put 2 security guards in the mosh pit with us. not because it killed any vibes, it didn’t, was more worried about their safety because that was kinda a dumb move imo (i saw tweets during the show about people intentionally trying to get them down on the ground in the pit, which is not cool). Also something about the lighting in here always translates well with even my phone camera.
