Ernie Howlett Park

Just a great place... one of my favorites since i moved here in 2017

Excellent for horse lovers but also good walking trails and a nice peaceful place

This was my first time visiting this place, I participated in the Palos Verdes Trails 5k run or walk. The trial is very nice , all dirt not paved, it runs along and under Hawthorne blvd. This trail is used as a horse trial so there is horse droppings all along the trial. Not to bad especially after covid since I couldn't really smell it. Parking is available though it's just a dirt lot

This is our go-to Park these days for parks that both of our children enjoy. Unfortunately, it's not all that close to us, but we still make it up there quite a bit because it has basketball courts for my son and the rims are slightly lower than a standard room. And my daughter likes seeing the horses as well as playing on the playground and biting her scooter around.

Fair park with trail and small kid play area. Unique as it's having horse trail and having rolling hill estate tennis club.

This park is a hidden gem. It's quiet and ideal for socially distanced outdoor activities. There's many sport courts: tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball. There's also a playground, horse arenas, picnic areas, clean restrooms, little free community library, and much more. This peaceful park gives access to charming hiking and horse riding trails. The lawns are very well kept.
