Glen Waverley is a great course for the older golfer. The fairways are in excellent condition & the length of the course makes it that much easy as all our shots do not seem to go as far as we age. Hope to be playing here for many years to come.
Nice upgrade to facilities and course but unfortunately they are overbooking. It took over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Four of us left after 9 after paying for 18 because we didn't have 6 hours to play a round of golf. Disappointing.
Golf course is short but tight. Well maintained, though in Winter some fairways can be quite wet. Green fees are affordable with great savings with fortnightly/monthly/yearly package. Pro shop staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Great golf course to play. I am yet to meet any unfriendly players.
It's been a long time since playing this course. Over the last few years they have been redeveloping the whole course and facilities. The course was is great condition and challenging. The golf club hasn't moved into the few facilities as yet (next few weeks). I will definitely be coming back.
Glen Waverley golf course is a very tranquil setting. It is well maintained and laid out. Flowing water and native wildlife throughout. Nice open fairway and some well placed bunkers. Some very drivable par 4's and a great sprinkling of par 3s. This course is inundated with water at the moment and carts were not allowed. Very sloppy throughout the entire course. Greens are in good knick but lots of unattended pitch marks left by public golfers. The staff were happy and helpful, the hire clubs were modern and decent quality and the proshop was well stocked.
Amazing public course, well kept greens and fairways, staff are always friendly, they are dog friendly as well which is great when I want to bring our whippet along for 9 holes (on lead of course). Have had multiple golf days here always a blast great prices as well highly recommend.
