Royal Mountain Ski Area

First try here was the past weekend! Between the great staff, modern snow making, terrain for all levels, it was a great experience. Perfect for a powder day without the lines! Will definitely be back!

This place is as good as it gets, I’m new to snowboarding and everybody from the staff, ski patrol, and owner are all very welcoming and helpful! Lost my keys on the slopes and everybody worked towards finding em even including the owner after they closed, thankfully finding them! 10/10 would recommend!!

Its a great family mountain. The vibes here are like no other. The food is decent. Both the food and bar are affordable. The bunny slop is by far one of the best ones ive seen at a mountain. The events held here are a lot of fun. The only negative i have is that i wish they sold tickets based on hours rather than specific time frames of a day. I would like to be able to go and buy a 4 hour ticket rather than wait until 1pm to buy a half day ticket or leave by noon to then rip up my ticket and get $10 put back on my card

The mountain is beautiful, and they have trials. The staff is really nice and welcoming and very helpful, also ski patrol is on top of everything very nice and making sure people are ok. I would give 5 stars the only thing that I don’t like is that when you go to relax after doing a few runs and getting food there no storage anywhere so it seems like everyone instead of leaving there extra gear in there bags and cars the tables and seat and space around it is filled with helmets and bags and boots. You can tell if the person left that there to ski or board leaving no room for people that coming in to take break and eat relax. the T-Bar is a nice spot to drop everything off to save room in that other lodge but I don’t think that will change things. It’s a great spot to ski board but if your gonna relax if everything taken up your probably taking a breaking in your car to warm up and sit and eat.

Went to watch my nephew race motocross on wed evening and had a Great time!!
Only take cash for the races so be prepared.
Had a great time and met lots of people!

This was my first time here. I brought the Niskayuna Ski Team up for a Slalom competetion. (yes, I drive school buses) This is a little hidden gem. You've heard about Gore, West and Willard locally, well now you (Upstate New Yorkers) got another one to go to.

There is plenty of parking, I can atest to it because there were 14 schools, free skiers and snowmobilers (came in late afternoon when the event was done) There is a upper lot and a lower lot.

There are two lodges ..the Base lodge and the T-Bar. (I was only in the Base Lodge.) The Base Lodge has plenty of seating, especially if it was a normal day of free skiers. It has a bar area for the adults. Not sure what they had there as far as drinks so that will be a wait and see if you go. The snack bar is awesome, especially their WAFFLES ! The air smells like fresh baked waffles the entire time...The staff were remarkable! Friendly, courteous and full of smiles...especially with the amount kids that were there!

The mountain itself has several differnet ski runs (see picture). By what I saw they were very well maintained and groomed. I couldnt tell much more than that because I couldnt ski due to being on the job. The ski pass was pretty reasonable ALL DAY pass $50. Pretty good for a Full day of skiing (9 to 5)

We couldn't find a better place to have fun. It's hot inside and the coffee is fresh. Just come and hang out buddy😍👍
