First time downhill mountain biking. Plenty of trails and a lot of technical challenges - very fun and exciting. I had my birthday with friends and family here. Personal thanks to Mike E. in group sales. Great time and definitely recommend!

It's always a great place to visit and get away from it all. Just sit back, relax, and take in the views. Go for a walk and enjoy nature. Lot of things to do around the area.

WEDDINGS: Sorry in advance for the long post, but I want this to be very thorough for any prospecting B&Gs. I found out about this venue through a bride that posted her pictures on the NJ Brides Facebook group. I have never heard of MC but when I saw the pictures of the ceremony, I knew I wanted to go visit. When I visited, I fell in love with the spacious venue and the grounds. I didn't even get to see the mountain top ceremony because it was ski season, but I signed the contract anyway. The pictures and experience speak for themselves. I would like to preface this review by stating that I am a manager and Maitre D at an extremely popular venue in NJ and run 6 weddings every week, I have been in the business for 12 years. I have HIGH expectations. Working with the ladies at MC was great. They were always helpful leading up to the wedding day. Very detailed, which I appreciated. Of course the 10 day forecast was actually correct. It poured almost all day until after the ceremony. Of course. It cleared up enough that Jessica let us go to the mountain top for our first look and as many pictures as we could squeeze in before the next storm rolled through. So most of my formal pictures were taken care of up there and my family and bridal party were able to experience the gondola, which of course is the main thing I talked to all of our guests about for the 2 years that we had been booked at MC. They were kind enough to immediately refund our large payment that is required for the mountain top ceremony. The indoor ceremony was also a great option with curtains that were included to block off the reception tables, which is very rare to include. The bridal suites were beautiful and newly renovated. The food was absolutely wonderful and plentiful! Timeline went smoothly thanks to our maitre d that kept us on pace so that I didn't have to micromanage or worry about anything. I stayed on the dance floor all night, just where I wanted to be. Our bridal attendant Diana was fabulous and very sweet. I almost had a melt down before walking down the aisle. I walked by myself so I didn't have any loved ones to hang on to or calm me down. Diana held my hand and let me squeeze it for as long as I wanted and I'll never forget that! Having the after party upstairs (in the same room) and hotel a walk next door was the best part. We spent the weekend there and it was everything I ever wanted. No one wants to spend that much money on one day, so we made it a weekend experience. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. I cannot wait to come back for the Valentine's Day dinner and stay over night! Thank you so much, especially to Jessica for being there for us throughout this whole process and I know you worked your butt off that day keeping me calm and setting up all of my MANY details. I can't thank you all enough!

The Lodge at Spruce Peak is a luxurious retreat nestled in nature's embrace. From the moment you arrive, the staff pampers you with exceptional service and genuine warmth. The rooms are elegantly appointed, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The amenities, including the spa and outdoor activities, provide a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. While it comes with a higher price tag, the experience is worth every penny for those seeking a lavish, unforgettable escape.

Even outside of ski season, it was absolutely spectacular here. The view was awesome. The service at the restaurant was great and professional, and the food was delicious. We stayed at an AirBNB, so I can't comment on the rooms.

The luxury, the practicality and solace - meet at this place. The beauty of the mountains around is ethereal. There is a gondola ride to the gondola! And, it’s free.
We absolutely loved our visit to this and the nearby shopping complex. The lodge is close to Stowe, and all the nearby attractions. Fall and winter months are the best to visit this area. Do expect tranquility and relaxation, and hesitate not to let yourself easy on this vacation.

We visited here with friends . It was an awesome time to spend with kids and family. Lots of decorations were there and very beautiful.Restroom were nice clean and available for kids diaper changing as well. There is a store for buying souvenirs and wintergreen dress as well . However clothes costs were higher than usual. However there is food available. Popcorn was really fresh . Live music , view the ski was awesome. The resort was available as well which is right there and is easily can be driven to kids activities area as well. We really had a good time and definitely recommend others to visit here in winter and fall surely.

Booked a one bedroom suite and overall liked the service and location, but the beds were just not acceptable for a luxury resort. They were super firm. Like feel the springs firm. I generally prefer a bed in the firm side but this was a whole other level. Unless you sleep on your back exclusively, you'll likely get little to no sleep. They just felt cheap to me. I've stayed at countless hotels and Airbnb and the by far was the worst sleeping experience. Luckily I asked the front desk for a bedding topper which they had. It blunted the stone like surface a bit but still not enough for me to get restful sleep without waking up in pain.
Though I liked other aspects of the resort, I'd definitely not return unless beds were improved. Just seems like such a weird and simple detail to go short on.

Here is a rundown of our stay here at The Lodge:
We arrived right on time. My husband tried to check in, and our room was not ready...we tried again 30 min later, again, not ready. They gave us a drink ticket, which was nice, but this derailed our plans of freshening up and get settled in. We got a call two hours later that our room was ready... this was at approx 6:30 PM and check in time was at 4:00. Good thing we went off property to eat. To me, this is not acceptable. We also got no info on parking, car valet, the lay of the land, or any helpful info when checking in.
The Room itself was nice. The shower was absolutely awesome-the water pressure and temp was what I wish I had at home! Very spacious room. I found the pillows to be very uncomfortable, and being given water to drink would have been nice as well. We had a view of the foliage off to the left, so that was nice, but mostly looked at the pool.
Not very many eating choices here for most of our stay. We ate at the Alpine restaurant, and the food was very good, but not knock your socks off good. The $42 cheese board was tasty, but too small for that price. In general though I was happy we ate here one night. Wait times here are long.
Whistlepig Pavilion was really cool, as we are big WP fans, so definitely check that out! The shops and activities were plentiful, but not the best hours. I know it isn't their busy season, but staying open a little later would have been nice as I did not really get to explore them.
The Valet: these dudes are busting their butts. They are clearly understaffed, and I do not hold our wait times against them. They were all super friendly and very good at their jobs. What needed to be done here was the front giving us a heads up to call at least 30 min prior to leaving... on our last day, we had to wait 45 minute for our vehicle, and we were late to an appointment we had booked for an event. I find that unacceptable for a place like this.
The location is a great spot. I would stay here again if there were some adjustments made as I did very much enjoy my time in Stowe.

Perfect location for the Virginia State Claims Association's conference. A huge thank you to John Spangler, guest services attendant, who assisted me every step of the way, making sure I had all the help I needed as a vendor for the event. Spectacular views, great food, incredible memories. Thank you Wintergreen!

Having previously stayed at the Lodge at Spruce Peak in both 2021 and 2022, our latest visit was met with mixed feelings. While our check-in experience left much to be desired, with our room not being ready until after 6:00 PM, the hotel was apologetic and offered a $200 credit for the inconvenience.
Regarding the dining experience, we fondly remember our past dinners here being nothing short of amazing. Unfortunately, this year, while prices have increased, the quality seemed to have taken a downturn to just being mediocre. That said, a visit to Whistle Pig remains a highlight – though it’s worth noting you can enjoy this without being a guest at the lodge.
The Timberline studio room was indeed pleasant, but this came at an extra cost as we opted for an upgrade. It’s hard not to feel the pinch when considering the overall expenses. A couple of drinks, one dinner, some snacks, and a spa treatment ran us over $1,000 for just a day and two nights. The value just doesn’t seem to match the price anymore.
On the bright side, their pet-friendly policy is commendable. However, it’s worth noting that the customary dog beds and bowls were conspicuously absent this year.
In summary, while the Lodge has its merits, the increasing costs combined with a less personalized experience means we’ll likely be exploring other accommodations in the future.

The view from the room was great, literally right into the slopes and foliage. Room was very nice and comfortable with a patio, fireplace and king size bed. Could have gone without the overpowering chlorine smell from the pool but that’s just part of it when your room is above the pool I guess.
Very polite and courteous staff, the grounds were amazing, and the wilderness feel within was warm and exactly what you’d want it to be.
Just plan on bringing some drinks and eats with you unless you desire spending some serious coin inside the grounds for meals and beverages

I had the pleasure of visiting Wintergreen Resort, and I must say, it was an absolutely magical experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service.
The resort's location is breathtaking, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering stunning panoramic views that are simply awe-inspiring. The snow-covered landscape made me feel like I was in a winter wonderland, and it was a picturesque setting for my vacation.
The skiing and snowboarding facilities are top-notch. The slopes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, and the rental equipment was in excellent condition. The ski instructors were patient and knowledgeable, making it a great place for both newcomers and seasoned snowsports enthusiasts.
What truly sets Wintergreen Resort apart is its commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Whether it's helping with equipment rentals, providing dining recommendations, or simply offering a warm smile, they make you feel like a valued guest.
I can't recommend Wintergreen Resort enough, whether you're a winter sports enthusiast or just looking for a cozy retreat in a beautiful setting. It's the perfect destination for a memorable winter getaway. I can't wait to return next season!

The staff was great. Even though (I feel) I wasn't their usual type of customer, they were very friendly while they helped me register on my fon.
I only patronized the bike park.
As I patiently navigated the courses, I thoroughly enjoyed each scary ride.
I'll sum it up in the words of one of the other patrons that helped my navigation...
"Mountain Creek is knarly!.."
I will be back to enjoy this bike park again... sorry (not sorry) to the folks who looked uncomfortable. I'm not gonna let that stop a good time.

I've been a guest at Wintergreen at least 10 times since 1990, the last visit being back in July 2023. The service, recreational opportunities, and dining options are still very fine, but the condo rental lodging is showing its age. The sound proofing is subpar and if you have someone "residing" one floor above you, you'll hear them hoofing around unless they are quiet by nature. Condo owners pay huge HOA fees and their interest in upgrading their rentals is; therefore, limited. You've been warned............

We’ve been going here at least once or twice a year for the past few years. Honestly, the more we visit the more this place grows on us. Clean and decent rooms. Love the fact the indoor water park is included. Only constant complaint would be how the extra charge for over night parking and their food is barely ok but completely overpriced. If not for that, I’d rate this place as 5 stars.

They raised the self parking prices by 20%
from $20 -$25
When asked if i want to park off location was told I can park in the bottom of the hill.
But you will get a ticket.
Not sure why the greed on me self park my car.

Had a quick get away at the Lodge. Beautiful location. Loved the exterior and layout of the complex. The staff was accommodating and friendly. A slight glitch at check in was smoothed over with complementary drinks at one of the wonderful in house restaurants. Loved the hot tub and heated outdoor pool!

Really great experience overall. A real bang for your buck considering the schedule, planned site visits, and tasting options (plus discounts at some of the wineries). In addition, Raven was an awesome tour guide. Highly recommend!!! Aldo from MEXICO 😎👏🏼

Amazing service. They have an
Oncall shuttle for the whole resort. Was great. We never had to drive from the house we rented down to the resort restaurants.

The hotel is nice and modern. Offers a fair amount to do on sight but be prepared to pay, while the cost to stay is on the expensive side if you go to either restaurant you will pay a premium that exceeds the quality of the product. It is nice they do things like live music in the pavilion but they charge $40 a ticket to get in (this is in the middle of the grounds) you would think with the extra resort fees you pay that nothing would require an extra ticket you have to purchase. Bed was comfortable, rooms were nice.

We went here for mountain biking and did not stay at the hotel.
The trails were OK and did not seem like they were groomed any time recent. However they were still OK to ride and decent. Some of the trails were completely closed. We still had lots of fun and enjoyed our time though.
One of the big negatives that surprised me was the parking lot. It is an adventure on its own. Haven’t seen such a horrible parking in a while. Luckily we were on my friend’s truck, but while unloading/loading our bikes we saw several cars bottoming out, scraping the bottoms and almost ripping out their bumpers. Even smaller SUVs had problems navigating that horror of a parking.
I would have given this place 4 stars if not for the parking. Not sure if I’ll be taking my car on that parking since I don’t own a truck.

I loved that expience with sourced adventures. My friend and I had a great time, we really enjoyed that get away from the city and had a good time In the river. Sonny and Michael were extremely good guides, so sweet, so nice, and patient.I will join for the next trip.

I went on the Long Island winery tour for a friend's birthday. This was a perfect day. It was organized, well timed and really fun. The three wineries we chose we different in vibes/styles and they were perfectly chosen. Our hosts Joe and Vinash were stellar. This was also perfectly timed which I appreciated. I highly recommend this tour.

Loved Mountain Biking at Spirit Mountain the trails were great! Howver i struggled with teh trails not being properly marked.
When you get off one trail its hard to tell which way to go to get on the next. We ended up down a harder run I wasn't ready to go down because it wasn't marked. It was fine I walked most of it, but the trails really need to be marked better. and putting a sign in between 2 trails without an arrow pointing to the correct way to go also isn't helpful.

I have to say I was extremely disappointed this time around coming here. Had to go downstairs multiple times for wristbands to work, took over an hour for housekeeping to bring what we needed (a few times we didn’t even get what we needed), person at register could not understand the questions I was asking about food and didn’t know how to give me 32 cents change, food wasn’t great, and there was mold in the middle of a Rice Krispie treat that we purchase. Had a great time with the people we were with but there was definitely a shortage of staff.

I’m giving 1 star on everything because you people do not care about your local year round employees only your international ones!!! Locals get stuck with lower paying jobs while your internationals advance. Your locals stay loyal when the season ends when internationals go home even though, they have low wages and very few tips off season. Our locals go hungry and can’t pay their bills but it’s locals who keep that place afloat. You’re definitely taking advantage of the young local folks and it’s extremely un-American. I hope others reading this review go elsewhere on their vacations. Somewhere with more American values.

I've skied there.... but inwas there recently for the scenic lift to the top of the mountain and to check out their high adventure ropes course at the top of the mountain..... it was awesome and I'd highly recommend.

We didn’t get a chance to check out the fun stuff like the water park, coasters, or slopes, but they all looked like a ton of fun.
For the cost of the rooms in the Appalachian, I definitely expected better. My cousins had a room on an upper floor that was much nicer, so I am hopeful that there are renovations in progress. However, our room at more than $500/night had torn up carpet and very little air flow in the smaller bedroom. The tap water was also undrinkable, which is more of a location issue but a filter could be provided in the kitchens. The staff had a fairly “not my area, not my problem” attitude, and given as essentially everything is done online, I can’t blame them too much but they were not very helpful.
The event staff, however, were wonderful.

We were told we would receive a text message when our room would ready and we received 20 minutes after we we asked the front desk if the room was ready. Of course they wait until 4pm exactly to tell us the room was ready. We recieved our wrist band keys and one worked. The remaining 2 bands did not work. We went to the front desk and received another set of wrist band keys and now none of the 6 bands work. So now I have stand on line for a third time to get the issue resolved. In addition, they charge 25.00 per day to self park your car. This fee was implemented during the Covid Pandemic. Obviously 3 years later they still charge guests to park on their property.

We went to the Water park. It was like a blast from the past when I used to go to Action Park as a teen, but way WAY safer. This place is tremendous value for the cost of the ticket and my teen and tween boy had a great time. There is also stuff for the little ones too. Definitely gonna go back again next summer

Location is beautiful but service is terrible at the hotel. We were there for a wedding and the hair dryer in our room didn’t work properly (only cold air). There are no phones in the room to call for assistance so I went online and there’s a chat service. I tried that and no one ever responded. After about a half hour I tried the phone number for the site and all it did was take me to a message to use the chat service. I went all the way down to the lobby to ask for a new hair dryer. The woman called someone who didn’t answer and took my room number down. Never got a hair dryer which is not great when getting ready for a wedding.
The wedding was great except for the period between the ceremony and cocktail hour. They sent us to the space for cocktail hour but it wasn’t ready so we had to just wait outside which isn’t too bad except some people wanted to use the bathroom and they wouldn’t let them in for that and they had to walk all the way around to another part of the building.
Also if you are there for a wedding and taking the lift up to the top of the mountain don’t wear thin heels as they may slip through the grate.

Absolutely loved my first sourced adventures excursion and can’t wait to do more! I recently went on the Kayak and Wine (Delaware River Kayaking and Warwick Valley Winery) day trip and not only were Sunny and Kelly amazing guides/hosts, their safety instructions were extremely thorough and their time management was great. Perfect summer activity! Definitely would do it again and would recommend it to everyone I know.

Outdated….
For the amount of money spent this place has to do better. First day I was given a room the had pet urine everywhere ( I am severely allergic to pets). The room outdated carpet is filthy. No accommodations are included with package besides a dirty water park. They need to shut down and power wash and sanitize the entire place. Hospitality….. worst I have ever seen went to use the bathroom and the dirty wash clothes and towels from the previous occupants were still there and wet. I wish I could give this place zero stars but I had to choose one. The are making money hand over fist and not putting it back in to the facility. DISGUSTING

First time here. It is comparatively small when compared with Kalahari and Great wolf park on the same area. They also gave the wrong room initially and we have to rundown again to get the correct room. Kalahari is the best for adults and family. Great Wolf is great for family with young kids.

I actually went to camel beach water park and it was very difficult to have any enjoyment whatsoever because there were way too many people there couldn't find a chair to relax in lines for the slides were outrageously long and the wave pool was so packed with people that everytime the waves came on everyone was being slammed into everyone else. Food prices were inordinately high $15 for a cheese burger and fries. They had protective sleeves for your phones but they were $25. So no space to relax, no room to enjoy the wave pool or lazy river, and extremely high prices. The ticket price was the only reasonable thing, and even that went wrong they were discounted if you ordered them online but whenever I tried to order them I got error message saying my transaction couldn't be completed at this time and the ticket counter person still tried to hock the online option even after I showed her it didn't work and refused to honor the discount that I couldn't get because their system was broken. At the very least take care of the overcrowding issue and I may consider returning until then if the only thing you care about is how much cash you can rake in by cramming past capacity I won't be returning.

Amazing experience! Sonny and Kelly were great, their personalities and attention to detail when it came to safety were amazing. The Delaware river kayaking and Warwick Valley Winery trip was such a perfect adventure. I’d highly recommend this company and I can’t wait to join the winter excursions!

Good time with the grandkid indoor Waterpark is free if you stay at resort. Decent food good size arcade. Nightly free entertainment in lobby. Only downside is the $25 a night parking fee. Clean rooms, lots to do. Will definitely return it the future.

Great place for families. Can be pricy depending on activities. The outdoor water park is fun. Food lines are long due to lack of organization. Ride lines are bearable and go very fast. There are huge safety concerns for the bear lift so BEWARE. My kids and I went on the bear lift...the bar which is suppose to be secure lifted while we were in the air. We could have fell. I informed the attendant... she was nonchalant and did not follow. We even mentioned it to the front desk at the hotel...they apologized. I would not recommend the bear left and will be reporting this incident to the State.

Our stay started with a few kinks, but the Lobby Bartender Lynn was able to give us a few pointers to maximize our vacation. There’s plenty to do at the resort, and the food at Trails End is very good! It’s definitely worth another trip!

Favorite midwest ski hill! Great, long runs. Beautiful view of the twin ports from above. Nice food court and clean chalet.

We travelled from Toronto, and it was worth every min of the time we spent on a road trip to treat ourselves with this beautiful resort. Amazing indoor facilities, extremely courteous and friendly staff, and great choice of restaurants to choose. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor Waterpark and activities. Especially the graffiti pizza place

Business conference trip. Resort amenity hours were way too short. Conference food was mediocre. The evening meal was at their nicer on resort restaurant and it was riddled with issues. Their performance in the middle of the snow season may be fine but it was a miss this time!

We go and check out the trilliums and wild woodland flowers each spring. The woods behind Spirit Mountain are stunning!

Very friendly staff working today and the alpine coaster is so much fun! Loved the views and the beautiful green trees surrounding me!

As others have stated, they moved the tubing from a large hill to a tiny one without saying anything. Customer service refused to refund even though we were not going to drive 2+ hours each way for a tiny hill once we realized.

I have a special place for Wintergreen. I even worked there from aged 17 for a few seasons. I have not been in a couple years. I was back in the area and cannot help but make the drive when I can. It is worth the drive from a thousand miles if you love golf. I also love the skiing but my heart is on the fairways. The restaurants are all great. Choose the level of dining and they have it. I cannot comment on the hotel as I have not stayed in it since around 2000. It will be nice to stay I am sure but I cannot comment first hand. Just the views can make you feel at peace. Cannot say enough.

Fabulous time to be had here. Well organized and we'll groomed areas. Skiing, snow tubing, and snow boarding options. Parking lot can get full on busier days, so you have to use an overflow lot. Chalet does have a cafeteria if you need a bite.

I went for my school field trips, such a wonderful experience. They have great big slopes to tube down and great employees!

We had so much fun snow tubing. It’s fun for both kids and adults. More of a thrill than I was expecting. There is a nice chalet to warm up, grab some hot chocolate and a bite to eat.

I had an amazing time at Camelback Snow Tubing! The staff were friendly and helpful, the tubing hill was well-maintained, and the experience was thrilling. I would highly recommend Camelback Snow Tubing to anyone looking for a fun winter activity, even in the later months of the season.

you people have the nerve of scam the public.
Why don't you changed your pictures? the place is ridiculous, there are plenty of hills around the state for free.
1- If there is no snow you shouldnt sell tickets.
2- The hill is tiny and you dont get even to the middle of the lane, it is very boring
There was a huge line because all the lanes were pretty bad, there was one that made you get to the middle at least. Everybody was waiting.
3- The lodge is far and you have to get there in the car, but also pay for parking because is a premium parking.
4- The bathroom was disgusting, but also didn't have water or soap to wash the hands, so imagine that, GROSS
Worst place for tubing, i want my money back.

We went for the evening snow tubing, had amazing time. First we went to the wrong place you have to drive little bit up for the tubing. My kids and my whole family had lots of fun. The mountain lights and colors were awesome! You get a card that’s how you get in each time. We had 2 hours that was enough for us. Purchased tickets online for $75, parking $12. Staff was great. sometimes they help us and push us down to get faster…the little village with the fire on each table gives very cozy feelings, but I don’t recommend to buy there anything it’s way too overpriced. For one Gatorade they charge $8. There is close by a great market where you can get a fresh (no concentrate) half or a gallon juice for a same price. Walmart also couple of minutes drive away.
Back to the tubing, be there on time because your time how did you booked online, You have a card that’s what you have to use for each slide on the gate. When your time is up then you can’t go trough anymore. There is single and double tubing. One side for long sliders other one for a faster lovers. Both side is great only thing don’t forget to pull up your butts slides can be bumpy.

Tubing was so much fun for both the adults and our teenage boys. The tubing runs were very well groomed. The magic carpet was awesome! The runs were shorter than Buck but just as fun and less expensive.

Fun place to snowboard with good runs, including a board park. Can be pricey, but just gotta keep an eye out for the deals

Zero stars. They are making up information. I drove 2h20 with kids and when I get there noticed the snow tubing is small than our kids playground. They closed regular snow tubing but they didn’t say anything about it, so you pay, when get there, is not able to have refund. Just don’t waste your time.

Decent ski hill for beginners and families. The terrain is primarily short greens and a couple blues. For others, it leaves a bit to be desired and fell short in a couple areas.
The cafeteria was the worst ski lodge experience I’ve had in a long time (by far). Spent $6 for a soggy, cold slice of pizza which tasted days old. The woman at the register (manager/owner?) ignored the line of customers and went on a very extreme rant to another worker about how bad of a job the employees were doing, along with other business and personal matters. She was extremely unprofessional and really created a hostile atmosphere - I feel bad for the employees that work for/with her. The entire line of customers were visibly uncomfortable. Lift, bar, and ticket staff were very friendly. The guys at the Apex Chair had especially great attitudes!
Snow guns were not running even though the majority of the blue trails were closed for lack of snow and the temps were perfect for snowmaking. Grooming wasn’t bad but could be improved - there were some dangerous contours on some of the trails that could have been smoothed out with more regular grooming. Not a huge deal, but certainly unusual for beginner terrain.
I’m a big supporter of independent resorts and an indie passholder. Compared to other independent resorts, West Mountain fell short on terrain selection, snowmaking, and their cafeteria. I would visit again to see if its the norm, but some aspects of the resort seemed mismanaged.

Not worth the money/time. The new location is very very small. It was okay for my 5 yr old as a first timer. It takes you longer to get up versus going down the tiny hill. We went two years ago and the old location was much bigger and it was actually fun! I added some before and after pictures of the hills.

Nice run and plenty of space. It sure beats dragging your sleigh back up the hill like we did when we were kids.

Awesome weekend first time outdoor snowboarding. The kids did great and looking forward to coming back. Even when we finished I enjoyed watching the other people hit the jumps. Definitely made for good post to my IG @docnitty23

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Took my son and his friends snow tubing for his birthday and it was such a waste of money. I know it has been a terrible season for snow but then close the tubing instead of robbing everyone. I called ahead of time to make sure it was ok and got the green light. The hill is extremely small to begin with and the tubes would only make it down 1/4 of the hill. The kids did more walking than tubing. We couldn't buy anything to drink because the attendant was on break for almost the entire duration of the time we were there. Whatever you do, go somewhere else. Mountain Creek you NEED to do better! Pic attached showing everyone walking 3/4 of the way.

This looks so fun, but I felt so disappointed after we drove for an hour and a half to go there to see they were sold out. While it was our fault for not checking out in advance, it was annoying that they charged us the parking @$12 without advising they were sold out… ( their excuse is the parking is operated by a different company)… so make sure you book your tickets in advance! We hope to return though some other time… for now it’s a 3 stars only 🥺

We choose Sourced Adventures to go for a one day ski trip and had the best time possible. They are very good with communication and made sure everything from the bus ride to the resort access went smooth. We will definitely utilize their service again for day trips out of NYC!

Went tubing here for my son's friend's birthday party and it was an absolute blast, even for the adults. They have two separate hills. One smaller and one bigger. Both are really fun! The smaller hill is great for first timers, those who might be a little more reluctant and younger kids. The bigger hill is great for all ages but goes very fast! They also have a competitive downhill skill slope and a regular ski/snowboard slope. Can't wait to go back! Completely recommend!

Camelback Snow Tubing provided me with an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed to stay warm and comfortable while enjoying the snow tubing. The tubing was thrilling, with a variety of well-maintained lanes to choose from, and the overall atmosphere was lively and fun, with great food and drink options and a cozy fire pit. I highly recommend Camelback Snow Tubing to anyone looking for a fun winter activity, as the staff, facilities, and overall experience were all top-notch.

Nice small mountain located less than an hour north of Albany right off the highway. Getting lift tickets was easy bought online and then got physical ticket/card at kiosk onsite. Lifts are very fast and the slopes are well maintained. Would definitely recommend going here.

This is our first time coming to mountain creek snow tubing . Usually we go to Mt Peter but they are closed for tubing for now . Heard from friends that the tubing was long and fun, comparable to mt Peter . This year must have been the first year it changed because the tubing run was soooooooooo blah . It was short and simple , not what we were used to . The kids enjoyed it . Most of the tubes were deflated , especially the double ones . They literally built up the slope with snow and called it a day . It was really really simple. . All the employees were really nice so that’s why they get 2 stars . If you want to go real tubing, go somewhere else not worth it for 30 bucks .

Beautiful skiing, the lights at night are amazing. Also very well groomed and a nice chalet.

Freaking Awesome! First, time for snow tubing with the family, and it was great! Must purchase tickets in advance. The shuttle brings you to the snow tubing destination, you walk through this small tunnel and you're there. You are provided with individual cards to scan yourself in and out for snow tubing. There is a waffle cabin for a sweet treat and a Tap Bar Drink Truck(Food Truck) serves no food just drinks. There are restrooms. Plenty of tables to sit at with fires to stay warm. If you are not staying at resorts there is plenty of parking for the day. Bundle up and grab some tickets. Great time to enjoy this event is during the night. They turn on lights and music and it makes it so much more fun and less scary.

Tubing had zero line in any lane yet they are "sold out" maybe they need to rethink their system. Also the website sucks for trying to find where to make the reservations and calling is no help either. It's like they don't want your business at all.

They can’t control the weather. But I really enjoyed my trip to Mountain Creek. They were professional and on time. Very informative, and sent emails when the trip was approaching with pick up time and place.
They controlled the trip, played host and tried to please everyone. Maybe next time they will make Snow ❄️! 😂
Thank you Source Adventure

Small slope, but lots of fun. One ticket $30 gives you 2 hours of snow tubing. You should purchase tickets online in advance.

Great family outing! We did the snow tubing. There's a people mover to get you up to the top of the hill and it wasnt too bad of a line so we got four- five trips in within our booked time. Snack prices we're outrageous as expected, but the outing was a very pleasant experience overall.

It is a small slope, best suits for little kids.
Make sure to get the ticket online in advance. They don't sale ticket at the resort.
Also, check their official website or call them to make sure the opening hour.
A ticket lasts for two hours . On the day of my visit, I slid twelve times in two hours.
The tub can be tied up together to slide down to the slop. The maximum of six tubs can be tied together.
They also have tandem tubes for little kids who are between 36″- 42″.

Parking can be challenging during peak hours. Making reservations for tubbing can require some coordination, but also limits too many people on the hill and surges of groups and over crowding during the day. The chalet was great. Nice bathrooms, some food options and beautiful fireplace to get warm. Everyone had a great time.

We have been waiting in line for 30 minutes and the line has move like 5 people. The online pickup line is even longer. Something is really wrong here. I don’t think we will be back. In the current day of technology there is no excuse for this. I have skied a bunch of other places and never had lines like this. Its also a weekday.
We ended up waiting 1 hour and 35 minutes. Got to the line at 11.05am.

Super rad mtb trails. All the trails are fun, from the greens to the double blacks. Especially the tech, when they say double black, they mean it so be aware of very hard tech on some sections.

We went to the aerial treetop adventure course here on a group trip. We had never heard of it before the trip. It was AWESOME. It's like Adirondack Extreme, but much closer to home. We had a fantastic time here and look forward to going back again! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the lift ride to the top of the mountain was a beautiful bonus! This is highly recommended for a fantastic, fun filled day outside!!

Love this place. The hill for sledding is an absolute blast. it is awesome when the runs slick up a bit make it super fast. The downside (probably only for very few of us) is being a big guy i frequently fly past the end and sometimes need to bail to not run into the fencing. There isn't a lot of light at the bottom and have nearly taken people out at the knees because I get going so fast. I am not really sure how to fix that short of making more rumble strips at the end.
the only reason it is 4 stars is due to the price. it isn't cheap for the small amount of time you get to go sledding. if there is a season pass option I will probably be looking into that for next year.

Spirit Mountain hosts year round activities that range from serene walks through the peaceful Superior Hiking Trails to some absolutely wild mountain biking trails, wedding event venues, an adventure park with zip lines and alpine roller coasters, camping, skiing, and some incredible sight seeing.
Its an awesome place, well maintained, friendly atmosphere and has something for everyone.
We recently attended an absolutely beautiful wedding at the chalet which was very well done and enjoyed the company and the experience.

We had so much fun on this trip! Wish we would have brought a little more alcohol and some snacks but we will next time!!! We went tubing and it was absolutely beautiful. A couple places were too shallow and we had to drag the tubes but I will definitely go again. Guides were very friendly, bus driver was great too. A very good deal including transportation in and out of the city.

Snow tubing at Camelback Mountain was fantastic!! We had a blast with our family. The place was well organized, clean and safe. I recommend making the reservations online and buying the tickets online as well directly through the Camelback site to avoid the waiting lines to get tubbing. The tickets are good for two hours, we selected the 12PM-2PM slot,it wasn’t as colder as later in the afternoon. Parking was $12, you can pay either in cash or by credit card. Also, it is supper cold and windy make sure to wear snow proof clothes including gloves, boots and scarf.

Awesome. I went there two weeks ago. It’s was really adventurous. Everything was great but under six years no one allowed. We hiked and enjoyed. We had a lot of fun. We was large group. Ticket price was adult $20. All cable car looks very older, they need to paint 🎨. The seat wasn’t not comfortable. Management suppose to need good work with it. However everything was great and we are pleased 😀.

Purchased tickets and parking in advance for a Saturday afternoon. It was a gorgeous day that we only needed our bibs not our coats. Parking was simple and easy to get. It was a constant flow in and out as the snow tubing ticket was only for 2 hours. For the most part people were exercising social distancing and had their masks on. The experience for a group of kids and parents was nice. I would encourage others to consider this experience if you haven’t already and I would definitely come back.
Don’t have an outfit, consider stopping by a local shop. The Loft has an excellent supply, wonderful staff and decent prices. I hope you find this review helpful. If so, give me a thumbs up.

Grade A experience and quality customer service. My friends and I had so much fun during our adventure. I would highly recommend.

We went for my sons birthday and we all had a great time. I was glad that they set time slots for you party to prevent crowds due to Covid. The did temperature checks and sanitation upon arrival and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy the facility because of our time slots. We understand why some activities were closed off but we enjoyed everything else and look forward to coming back again soon.

Good place if your feeling adventurous lol
