Tox Brewing Company

Tox is one of my top 5 brewery and I can't wait to see their new location.

Small space but it's cozy and great for conversation with loved ones. Beautiful decorations, friendly staff.

However, I've lived in CT, RI, and MA and out of all three states (and the many breweries I've tried while residing in each), this brewery has the best stout I've had in over a decade (their other beers are also great but I'm a stout person). I'm very disappointed Man O' War allegedly won't be staying on the menu, but if this is the caliber this brewery can create I'll happily try anything they come up with!

Great tasting beer with friendly staff. They had a good variety of styles and I really liked the Angel Wings. I love their unique flight system (4 fills of a glass rather than a line of 4 glasses at once) and that I get to keep the tasting beaker. This makes my science nerd heart happy.

There is no such thing as a bad beer here. This is THE best brewery in Connecticut, hands down. The staff is friendly and feel like family. The beer is beyond incredible.

Great beers on tap and a decent alternative selection for non beer drinkers. They brew quite a few styles so you aren't limited to just IPA's Low key vibe with a comfortable inside and a outdoor seating. Bonus- there's a pizza next door

Truly amazed with this new Brewery, they have put out some amazing beer. Found them by chance and glad we did. Had the Dart Frog which was a really juicy IPA and the Black Widow stout. They were some of the best beers I have had in CT. It is a small place but it is cozy. There is outdoor seating and dogs were welcome. Staff was friendly and they really knew their stuff.

A new brewery to the area, Tox is having a strong opening. They have a variety of very interesting beers. My personal favorite was their Belladonna coconut and Chocolate stout. It has an amazingly distinct coconut flavor. The staff was super friendly, more then happy enough to give me the run down on their new burgeoning brewery. Come in soon because they are apparently selling beer faster then they are brewing.
