Had my wedding at the venue associated with Raccoon Creek. We really wanted a tee time for the morning of the wedding and as an associated course with the venue, you'd think they would work with us. Originally told the could get us on, but we couldn't book until a month out. We called exactly one month out and they said it was booked for a tournament. Trying to get ahold of the manager was impossible and the pro was rude. Very pretentious place considering is a public course.

if you like clay bunkers and greens with poa, this is the place for you! seriously, your tee sheet is full every weekend. invest in half decent bunkers, tee boxes, weed prevention, and other basic course maintenance

The venue is gorgeous & the staff very friendly & professional. However, the food was mehhhh..... ran out of several items for Mother's day brunch & what was there, was not very good/edible. I will try again when it is less busy, but at this point I was disappointed.

Edit: June 2024, was here for comedy night & it was a Blast! Still ran out of some of the food items but better than Mother's Day.

A special thanks to Steve who went playing 9 holes with my mom today. She's still a good player, but doesn't speak English and has early stage dementia. She was thrilled, and wouldn't stop talking about it all evening !

Everything about this golf club is great, from the course to the facilities.

Although Raccoon Creek is mainly known for their golf course, they have been hosting weddings and events for many years, and it shows in their attention to detail throughout the property. Not that every little thing is perfect - or has to be, it's not an over-manicured country club - just that I find them to be attentive when and where it counts.

They have a large range (hitting off grass with mats for the winter) and the course is challenging, but fair, for all levels of player. Fairways and greens are kept up well given the volume of individual and group/tournament play. They are home to junior programs and events as well.

Their restaurant and bar are more than suitable for course grub or as a casual sit-down lunch/dinner, inside or outside. I haven't yet been to a Comedy Night, but I've heard good things from a few of the 100+ people who have attended.

Pro shop is stocked and the staff are friendly.

What else can a golfer ask for?

Excellent course. Very walkable course and a great rate. Holes had plenty of challenges and lots of protective sand. Pace was great, and everything was in great condition. I also appreciated they had a guy driving around with water to make sure everyone was hydrated.

Excellent course, played a round today. Staff is very professional and helpful. Keep up the great work. I will play here again. Make sure you take plenty sleeves of golf balls if you’re not in the fairway you may lose one or two or three.!! 🤣 😂
