It's definitely a special place

Ordering is a bit tricky
Definitely there is a huge queue

But it's worth it

Had maritozzo, espresso and one more thing i can't remember its name

But it is a must try in Rome
I stood up ate my order n finished my espresso, as having a table to sit down is almost impossible

We visited Regoli Pasticceria during our final hour in Rome. Conveniently located near the train station, it was the perfect breakfast spot before catching our train to Naples. Our mission was clear: to try the best maritozzo in Italy. I'm thrilled to say that Regoli Pasticceria did not disappoint. The maritozzo was phenomenal, and the espresso paired perfectly with it.

This place is bustling, so it’s helpful to know the ordering process. Here’s a quick guide:

The Setup: There are two doors and two sides – one is the primary bakery, and the other is the coffee bar. While you can get a maritozzo on the coffee side, the supply is limited, so it’s best to start at the bakery side.

Step 1: Head to the cash register, place your order (including coffee), and pay (they prefer cash).

Step 2: You’ll receive your pastry and a receipt.

Step 3: If you ordered coffee, take your receipt to the coffee bar and hand it to a barista.

Step 4: Enjoy your coffee and pastry.

Seating is limited, but it’s a quick breakfast spot, so seats open up frequently. You can also choose to stand at the bar.

Regoli Pasticceria is truly wonderful and not to be missed if you’re in Rome!

Definitely a must go in Rome, standing to drink as local and the cream bun - Maritozi is so yummy and don’t be deceived by its fatty cream on top. It’s a must taste and surprisingly fluffy and soft and not overly milky and paired with its cappuccino - delizioso 👍

It’s bakery store next to the cafe and you can takeaway some to taste. we tasted few all yummy 😋

Incredible desserts. My sister claims that it's the best cannoli she's ever had. Additionally, they have many desserts with wild strawberries which I've hardly ever seen and they were delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the store had a charming atmosphere. We didn't try the attached cafe but it looked very popular and the drinks smelled good.

Amazing pastries. Freshly and generously made. Great cappuccino. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Seating available inside and outside. Absolutely worth a visit.

Am authentic Italian bakery with various sweet options. They close their coffee service at 12:00 pm (at least on Sunday), so please keep in mind when ordering. Quite busy, min 10 minutes waiting time with very limited seating options, but nice bakeries, very tasty.

I went here 3 times during my stay in Rome. It is a very busy cafe, and you can see the employees are doing their best to keep up but the payment system is a bit awkward. You need to go to the next store for card payment and you need to line up again to pay in cash. I recommend just go to the very inside to pay first not waiting for the barista comes to ask you what to get. Their pastries are really good and reasonable price, coffee was also super! There is also a washroom inside if you need to use, I just loved here.
