My friend and I went for breakfast 2 days in a row because we loved it so much! The people are so nice and they have the best cappuccino (you can get it with cocoa powder on top) and the most delicious sfogliatella. Would recommend to anyone waking by that neighbourhood for an authentic experience :).

Moreover, the guys working there were extremely nice!

Got there early, was the only customer, I sat outside. Coffee was great, pistachio croissant was fantastic. The toilet door doesn’t lock so anyone can walk in on you, only number one, they have a strainer in the toilet so you can’t do number two.
Once we left the inside was full and a long line to order.

Great coffee. Fresh orange juice and blueberry muffins. Not much of anything else to eat.
It's definitely a special place

Ordering is a bit tricky
Definitely there is a huge queue

But it's worth it

Had maritozzo, espresso and one more thing i can't remember its name

But it is a must try in Rome
I stood up ate my order n finished my espresso, as having a table to sit down is almost impossible

#bestcitiestovisit
Nice interior.
Icecream here is spiced up.
I recommend to pay attention to the chili&chocolate.

We visited Regoli Pasticceria during our final hour in Rome. Conveniently located near the train station, it was the perfect breakfast spot before catching our train to Naples. Our mission was clear: to try the best maritozzo in Italy. I'm thrilled to say that Regoli Pasticceria did not disappoint. The maritozzo was phenomenal, and the espresso paired perfectly with it.

This place is bustling, so it’s helpful to know the ordering process. Here’s a quick guide:

The Setup: There are two doors and two sides – one is the primary bakery, and the other is the coffee bar. While you can get a maritozzo on the coffee side, the supply is limited, so it’s best to start at the bakery side.

Step 1: Head to the cash register, place your order (including coffee), and pay (they prefer cash).

Step 2: You’ll receive your pastry and a receipt.

Step 3: If you ordered coffee, take your receipt to the coffee bar and hand it to a barista.

Step 4: Enjoy your coffee and pastry.

Seating is limited, but it’s a quick breakfast spot, so seats open up frequently. You can also choose to stand at the bar.

Regoli Pasticceria is truly wonderful and not to be missed if you’re in Rome!

Definitely a must go in Rome, standing to drink as local and the cream bun - Maritozi is so yummy and don’t be deceived by its fatty cream on top. It’s a must taste and surprisingly fluffy and soft and not overly milky and paired with its cappuccino - delizioso 👍

It’s bakery store next to the cafe and you can takeaway some to taste. we tasted few all yummy 😋
Incredible desserts. My sister claims that it's the best cannoli she's ever had. Additionally, they have many desserts with wild strawberries which I've hardly ever seen and they were delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the store had a charming atmosphere. We didn't try the attached cafe but it looked very popular and the drinks smelled good.

Am authentic Italian bakery with various sweet options. They close their coffee service at 12:00 pm (at least on Sunday), so please keep in mind when ordering. Quite busy, min 10 minutes waiting time with very limited seating options, but nice bakeries, very tasty.

I went here 3 times during my stay in Rome. It is a very busy cafe, and you can see the employees are doing their best to keep up but the payment system is a bit awkward. You need to go to the next store for card payment and you need to line up again to pay in cash. I recommend just go to the very inside to pay first not waiting for the barista comes to ask you what to get. Their pastries are really good and reasonable price, coffee was also super! There is also a washroom inside if you need to use, I just loved here.
You can enjoy a good coffee, authentic italian maritozzi and more. Be prepared, as the place it’s busy.
Also, you have to pay first and then get served. If you want to pay by card, you have to pay on a second cashier on the side (as the shop has two different entrances).
Lovely place, with very nice people! Coffee Peru is amazing! Toast with zucchini is also my favorite ❤️ thanks! Will come again !
Nice creamy gelato. The chestnut flavor was unique, recommend.
We did a coffee tasting there (booked through airbnb). The owners are very knowledgeable about coffee and they have quite a variety of extraction methods and specialty coffee. I would recommend everything from espresso to v60 or chemex.

The food and the coffee were so good!!! The staff working there were also very friendly and made us feel very welcome! 😊🥐❤️
It is one of the few cafes in Milan has in-depth knowledge of speciality coffee. We were recommended different beans in espresso and v60, very surprised.

We stayed in a nearby hotel and looked for a place to eat breakfast. This small Cafe was great. A very warm and welcoming place staff was amazing and the food was great also. We took a table by the window so we could see everybody coming and going on the street but if you want there are no places inside for a more intimate experience. Terrific way to start the day in Rome.
Wonderful espresso. Cute place, very clean and the staff is friendly.
Easily the best coffee in Milan. I live on the other side of the city and once a month I still pass by here for a coffee if I have time in the morning or a bottle of craft beer and a chat just before they close in the evening. One of the last little pieces of Italian community.

I visited as a solo diner, but I still received lots of attention from the staff and was seated at a table, not the bar, which was nice.

It being a Friday evening, I had expected more of a crowd, but it was quite calm (I went from 20.30 to about 22.00), not sure if that is normal for this restaurant or not.

Two very attentive and friendly waiters got me seated and took my orders for the Mango Crush mocktail, a tuna tartare and the linguine with amberjack (bottarga)

The mocktail was quite good, though I noted more of a ginger flavor than a mango flavor. When I enquired about it, I was assured it was the mango mocktail alright, so it might just be that the spice used in it had some strong ginger notes. It was very tasty nonetheless! 9/10

The tuna tartare was heavenly and I recommend it to everyone who visits. The umami of the tuna was complemented perfectly with the sweet and sour notes of the strawberry and balsamico. The basil gave the whole a touch of freshness. And the portion size was really good for the low price! Overall a wonderful dish, 10/10

My main course, the primi linguine with amberjack, was a bit disappointing. I had never tried amberjack before, and the fish by itself was lovely. I could taste the notes of citrus zest. However the dish had a fine dusting of dried mullet roe, which offset the taste of the pasta and the fish and had quite an overpowering smell. To me, it was too strong of an additive to the meal to complement it right. The linguine themselves were good, albeit a bit hard? Can't say if that was meant to be the case as it was another first time having noodles of that thickness, so that might be on me. My only reference was ramen and it's definitely chewier and harder than ramen. The portion of pasta was good, though some more fish would've been nice too. 6/10

The drink I ordered arrived nice and fast, and I only had to wait about a quarter of an hour for my first dish, the tuna tartare, to come out from the kitchen. When it was time for the pasta, however, the wrong dish was initially brought out, spaghetti with clam. I immediately let them know it was not what they ordered, which the waiter contested. (I know I'd never voluntarily order clam, though xD).

After clarifying my order again, they brought the spaghetti back to the kitchen to put my new order through. Because of the mishap it eventually took until 21.30 ish for the pasta to get back to me. The waiters during this time kept assuring me it was on its way and being made, so I knew I wasn't being forgotten, which was nice.

The ambiance in the restaurant was good. Like I mentioned it was calm and quiet regarding the crowd, and there was English music playing. The decor in the restaurant is nice as well and it was clean and well-kept. While I sat, a group of locals came in to dine as well, which confirms what other reviews say about this not just being a tourist trap!

My total came down to just under 40 euros, but with a tip I brought it up to 45, so a very reasonable price for these meals!

Overall a lovely experience, and I really recommend visiting!

Nice place with good amount of space for seating both inside and outside without feeling crowded by people coming in to order for take away. More seating upstairs as well. Note different pricing for ordering at table (sit down) vs ordering at counter (take away). Very friendly to everyone that comes in. Served glass of water with our coffee. Stuffed croissants very good, lots of chocolate cream (Nutella). Only bad part was the toilet - toilet is for pee only, which they make very clear with a strainer type thing in the toilet, and do not provide any toilet paper. Not a clean bathroom.

Really good food and a good price. There's a bar and restaurant and we had dinner there late around 22:30. The atmosphere was good and not too busy. The gnocchi was out of this world and so was the skirt steak. Cocktails were good and the mocktails if you don't drink. Well worth a look if you want some good food at a reasonable price.

Dropped in for lunch and drinks.
Plenty of food and options on the menu that can be ordered from phone which is useful for non Italian.
Friendly staff, good food and very reasonable prices.

Very knowledgeable barman. Small but nice choice of draft beers. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Visited with some friends for a late night drink after a night in Milan; a great place to just relax, chat and end the night.
It's one thing sourcing the best coffee beans (which they do), then roasting them to perfection (which they do), then using state-of-the-art equipment (which they do), in beautiful spaces (which they do). But it's quite another thing bringing all those elements together in the final product: a cortado that is so smooth, so delicious, so complex, so perfectly brewed that you'll walk for 30 minutes just to experience it again, again (which we did, and will do again and again – or, next time, just stay in a hotel closer to either of their stores). Go get your ultimate coffee fix from the masterfully skilled baristas at Cafezal – you'll thank me later!
a high-end specialty coffee in Milan, very well prepared but unfortunately didn’t have the best experience with the staff, they treated me differently than other costumers cause i’m not Italian and don’t speak the language either. They were very kind and bubbly with others, but cold when speaking to me.

We went here for an afternoon break, coffee, and pastries. We ordered two coffees and muffins - overall, we were not satisfied with the coffee and muffins. The muffins were dry and not that moist and freshly made. It was a bit of an unpleasant experience. With that price, we paid, unfortunately not worth it
Popped in for a couple flat whites and a croissant. The flat whites were very well made and the croissant was tasty. The outdoor patio was nice to sit on out front. The baristas were friendly and quick. Would come back again!
Great cafe with good coffee and atmosphere. Good outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend.

A wonderful experience. Very friendly staff, delicious food. Was a but unsure about the portion size of the pasta, but I struggled to finish it all. Very filling and would definitely eat here again.
Their rating is well deserved - excellent coffee, the custard croissant was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. Worth noting there’s no WiFi if you need to connect but that doesn’t detract from the 5-star experience.

It was very busy tonight but the staff were attentive and friendly. The majority of customers were locals or large groups of Italians which was reassuring. The decor is tasteful and the food was excellent. We had bruschetta and fried anchovies to start, carbonara and lamb ragout for mains with tiramisu to finish. Overall delicious not the usual tripe mass sold to tourists and at a fair price in nice surroundings. Highly recommended 👌
Awesome place! The workers are warm and pleasant, and they speak English. The V60 is great, and so are all the baked goods.

Definitely recommend!
We were looking for a café where we can also buy coffee beans as a souvenir. This is a great place for it, the barista was very helpful with some advice. They speak English very well, they are nice and we observed that a lot of people are used to go there in the morning.
We had cappuccino, espresso, lemonade and some fresh breakfast pastry. The best coffee we tried during our stay in Milano, highly recommend!❤️
Amazing place! There are not many coffee places where you can experience different coffee made of different beans and ways of preparation. Here you can find a true roaster and barista. We loved it! And the coffee... 👌🏻

I didn't eat here. Only dad some drinks. Very nice Negroni that came along with olives, crisps, peanuts and tortilla chips. Great service. The day I visited there was live music. A girl sang kind of bossa nova versions of Spanish, Italian and english songs. She was accompanied by a guitarist.

I recently visited a local ice cream shop with high hopes of indulging in some delicious frozen treats, but sadly, my experience was far from pleasant. As soon as I entered the shop, I couldn't help but notice the presence of insects buzzing around the ice cream display. It was truly off-putting and made me question the cleanliness and hygiene practices of the establishment.

First and foremost, sanitation plays a pivotal role in any food-related business. It is expected that food outlets, especially ice cream shops, maintain an insect-free environment to ensure the health and safety of their customers. Unfortunately, this particular establishment failed miserably in that aspect.

To make matters worse, the insects were not limited to just a stray fly or two. They seemed to be everywhere, landing on the ice cream containers, crawling on surfaces near the toppings, and even hovering around the seating area. This alarming sight completely shattered my confidence in the shop's ability to maintain proper hygiene standards.

While I understand that insects can be an occasional problem, it is the responsibility of the establishment to actively combat and prevent such issues. Regular pest control measures should be in place to eradicate any pests and prevent infestations that could compromise the quality and safety of the food being served.

Aside from the unsightly insect presence, the overall experience was marred by a sense of discomfort and unease. It was difficult to fully enjoy and appreciate the ice cream, constantly worried about the insects potentially contaminating the treats. This is an absolute shame, as the shop boasted an appealing selection of flavors and toppings that were unfortunately overshadowed by the alarming insect situation.

I strongly urge the management of this ice cream shop to take immediate action to rectify this issue. It is crucial that they prioritize the implementation of stringent pest control measures and invest in regular inspections to maintain a clean and insect-free environment. Customers should be able to visit an ice cream shop without any concerns about the quality and hygiene standards of the treats they consume.

In conclusion, my experience at this ice cream shop was extremely disappointing due to the pervasive presence of insects. I sincerely hope that the management takes this criticism seriously and takes the necessary steps to address the issue promptly. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a clean and enjoyable ice cream experience.

Great little place. A real surprise. Really nice English-speaking waitress, good food options (and very flexible with regards to special requests), and very good value.
The coffee is delicious. I bought two bags of coffee and when i'm going back to my country and i brew it, it's really so good. Hidden gem in Milan, is hard to found specialty there.

amazing lasagna, lovely waiters, cashierre sounded grumpy but it's to be understood because we spoke no word italian haha 😅 my bad. Also prices were amazing, i had big portion for 8 euros only we got bread and stuff too, friend was enjoying his zalm too. It looked cozy too and looked like it had a really nice bar inside. Overal great (authentic) place.
Best coffee in Milan and the tastiest pastries around. Found this place amongst my specialty coffee search and they did not disappoint. Not only do they care about the coffee beans and the process, but they’re also super nice and professional and will love to have a chat with you about their products. If you’re a 3rd wave coffee person there really isn’t need to look elsewhere!
Proper, quality coffee. I enjoyed my barrista made cappuccino and my partner's brewed Ethiopian coffee was flavoursome; perfectly brewed to a good strength, deep chocolate, velvety flavours with a hint of citrus.

7 stars! Who knew such a refreshing team could pull of such a wonderful dinner for my wife and I. It was our last day in Italy we wanted a restaurant with style and new foods to try. Now let me tell you, the food in this restaurant was amazing, refreshing and mostly creative! It really opened some new horizons in taste buds to try these amazing dishes! Every fish was made with heart and fresh ingredients. To top it off we had a great waiter team to help us on the way. Totally down to earth guys with heart to their work. Brothers at that too! 😊 I had some prosecco and for the first time I really liked it. After each taste it smelt like Lily flowers, so cool! And refreshing too! Wow. Everyone in Italy go here! Amazing place with fair prices and fun staff! Thank you so much for the great night!
