Shoreview Commons Park

This is possibly the best playground in the Twin Cities and is definitely a destination playground. If you love your children, bring them here. There are several areas for kids to be entertained and there is a wide variety of play options for children of all ages, even some areas more geared toward teens. The lack of shade in some areas is the only drawback, and it can get crowded. There is plenty of available parking. It is NOT fenced in.

This is a beautiful playground and has something for all ages. Adults could even enjoy their time here trying the various monkey bars and mini obstacle / ninja course.

There are multiple plant beds to catch rainwater run off.

Most of the park is covered in soft rubber so that it is gentle when falling.

Concrete walkways weave throughout the park to connect between the multiple play areas and seating option.

Almost no shade coverage except for the large pavilion.

-1 Star for lack of permanent restroom facilities. Having port-a-poties for a place this size and as affluent as it is does not make sense. It also only has one water fountain which is located near the covered pavilion.

This place can get over-crowded quickly when it ia nice out, especially on weekends.

There is also a small skate/bmx park attached. Mild features. Bowls, ramps, stairs, a kicker, and some grind rails.

This park is amazing! 🤩 Brought out 3 yr old here and she had an absolute blast! There's a HUGE variety of different things for kids to do. All in all there's like 4-5 different playground areas.

The only downside is the number of swings ... Y'all out a giant playground here and theres like ... 5 swings? I kid you not, there must have been some 200 kids here in a Saturday and there are 5 swings.

I'd give it 5 stars if y'all put some swings in.

Beautiful park. Lots of high quality, well made structures with beautiful design too. Great get away for kids to burn energy while having a great time! Next time, we'll bring a picnic as lots of lush grass areas as well! #impressed.

Pretty much the best playground ever!!! There is also a skate park and ninja/ parkour course, spaces for adults to relax and very well manicured gardens.

Seriously the absolute best park I have ever been too. There was so much to do, plenty of space, seating for adults, picnic tables, areas for older kids, younger kids, and even a Ninja Warrior course! I can't say enough good about this park!

Beautiful park! So many different areas to explore and play on. My toddler grandsons had so much fun.
