Irwin Park

I wouldn't even consider that as a park anymore

Close to Hampton Heights. It once was a very beautiful park and I hope to one day see it restored to better than what it was. We need another basketball court, some more benches, repaved parking lot, a hand ball court, some more swings and the baseball field remodeled to start housing some Little League games, and maybe even a nice track to get some laps in. I have a great feeling about it being brought back to a thriving family community space here on the Southside.

Nice place to visit in the summer time.

Not a good place for kids to play very unsafe

I like everything at Irwin Park except the porta-potty. The park is nice with plenty of things to do at the facility including a ball field and basketball hoop, but a public restroom would make the park more attractive to the community.
