There is no doubt that it is a great place to visit to witness paintings of Sikh historical figures, events and to see some old manuscripts as well as weapons but it can be modified into a lot better infact a great place if the SGPC gives it some attention.
It could be transformed into kind of a virtual tour for the pilgrims visiting from all over the world and from every faith so that they can learn everything about Sikhism they need to, from this museum as this is the most visited Sikh Holi place but unfortunately our SGPC is too busy in non-necessary things that they are doing nothing to improve this museum's value.

Free admission. However, it appears to be more of an art gallery than museum. Very few artefacts. More effort is needed is preserve the Sikh history in this museum. Consider better storytelling methods and make this museum more appealing to the younger.

Beautiful museum that commemorated the Sikh community. The art is very beautiful and true. Some is violent so may not be suitable for kids. Really talented artists made the artwork here. Easy to find. Staff is very friendly and helpful!! The museum is free of cost to all people. Come see this beautiful museum at the Golden Temple! Good vibes here.

A true history that has never been told and never shown. The pictures here tell the truth of the atrocities committed on humanity in ancient times, seeing which the body gets goosebumps.
I salute all those martyrs who immortalized their names in the pages of history by their heroic deeds.

Free to enter historical Sikh museum with paintings and images of famous Sikhs. They're are also great artifacts includes weapons that belonged to the Gurus. There is a lift present for easier access.

I went this Museum many times..The place is amazing. There are weapons and material from the period of Sikh Guru Sahib and the later Sikh Empire. Everyone Visiting Sri Harmandar Sahib must spare a little time to visit this photography is not allowed in this Museum..

Nice historic paintings but shame they do not allow you to take photos and instead want you to buy a book instead. Sadly this is how history is lost. If people were allowed to take photos of the artefacts that were looted and destroyed by the Indian government in 1984 we would have had a record of all Sikh historic artefacts .

It's located inside the complex, after the footwash. First or second door on your left. It's not really worth visiting for non-Sikhs. Mostly just modern paintings of Sikh and Punjabi historical moments. There's a few interesting minor artifacts and weapons. Only takes 5 min to walk through.
