Christian Academy of Laurel

I came here as a Pre-Ker and left as a Kindergardener, Pre K was amazing but I felt like my Kindergarden teacher (Ms. Chernesky? pronounced like that) had something against me because I always had "talking reports" on my weekly report that my parents saw yet I never actually talked and if I did she would've said something.

This is the best school i've ever been to. i completely recommend it for your child if you're a christian and you're looking for an educating school. Absolutely amazing and if you work late, you can pay for Aftercare which stays from 3:00pm - 6:30pm, but make sure you pick them up before 6:30pm or you get a small fine. Then there's before care if you go to work early.

This school is amazing all you guys are wrong as someone who goes to this school it is really good the Teacher's are great and the kids they try to teach us how high school will be like Ms. Dark Mrs.Sorrel and Ms. Opara. they are all great Teachers and they actually they keep semesters fun and take us on field trips like Philly or Black rock which is a retreat that we went to before it was the best time ever I love this school. and I will never leave the classes have a normal amount of students and middle school is fun we get an hour of recess and The Students are really nice to others and it is really easy for your Child to make friends here is a great school from Pre-K 3 to 8th grade your child will feel really good here they provide us with snacks and lunch if you pay from Monday thru Friday Im done and thank you and they will be nice to you just respect them bro this school really isnt bad.

Good school 10/10, as someone who goes to the school, the teachers and the people in general are great. Everyone at this school will grow up to be strong healthy boys and girls.

This school is good and judging by my stay here I have concluded that this school is great and you should come here

It’s amazing! The teachers, environment, it’s all amazing! I actually go here, so I have personal experience. Warning to parents though, middle school is rowdy.

As a former teacher, I wouldn’t send my kid here again. This school has definitely restored my faith in public schools. The middle school teachers do not schedule conferences or reach out to parents to ensure the academic success of the students like they should. One teacher told me she didn’t know when she “would have time to speak” to me when I requested a conference. The principal has contacted me 3 DAYS after to alert me of an incident involving my child. There are minimal accommodations for students with learning disabilities. These students are simply overlooked by teachers who’s only concern are their own children, enrolled in classes down the hall. This school is severely overpriced considering the lack of care they put into the students( or at least that is my experience.) Unless this is your church, and you feel a grand desire to support it, PGCPS will suffice.
