Visited the waterfall during my stay at The Green Dragon Inn. A well maintained, clean and relaxing walk to the waterfall. You can tell they take pride in their maintenance of the place.

There is a little cafe where you walk through and pay a fee of £4 per person to see the waterfall. You will receive a map showing you the different routes you can take to see the waterfall. We did both during our time here! Overall, we spent around 45 minutes at the waterfall. Highly recommend visiting if you are passing by or in Hardraw.

However, parking is VERY limited and you'll probably have to park outside the front of The Green Dragon Inn and then walk to the entrance of the attraction. The car park is shared with the pub as well as walkers to the waterfall.

It was windy when we visited so I would suggest taking a coat and probably wearing sensible shoes as the higher path is uneven and steep, but worth the climb! Either way, I highly recommend it to anyone!

A lovely waterfall with a few different walks round the area. One path leads you up and over the waterfall (it can be quite steep in places) but rewarding once you get to the top! Another path leads you round the bottom of the waterfall with some bridges crossing over the stream on the way round.

It’s well maintained and definitely worth the £4p/p entry fee.

We walked up and over, then back down and round to the waterfall and it took about 40 mins (observing the waterfall and sights included)

I cannot really comment on the car park as we were staying at The Green Dragon Inn, and it shares the same car park (as the waterfall) - which has limited spaces and can get quite busy. I believe the alternative is parking on the road (with not a lot of room to do so).
It’s a lovely 30min walk from Hawes if you choose to do so. (Which parking is available at).

Little gem tucked away behind the green dragon pub. £4 each for entry. Yellow walk straight to the waterfall and green walk taken you up and around it. Nice surroundings well kept.

Tucked away behind the Green Dragon Inn, this waterfall is well worth a visit. The pathways are well maintained, as is the whole surround. Well worth the £4 entrance fee. The lower walk is on gravel paths, but the high walk has steep steps and flag stones. The free, provided map shows all pathways. Stunning views are available from points along all the walks.

A beautifully well kept waterfall. The grounds are lovely and the walk to the waterfall is on well maintained path way with footbridges to cross along the way.
We thought the £4 entrance fee was good value as you can tell there is a lot of care taken of the area to keep it so nice.
There is a lovely tearoom and toilets on site too.

Brilliant, well worth a visit, admission fee not even the price of a pint of beer. Very nice visitor centre where I had a cake and coffee...delicious!! Very friendly staff. It's a beautiful 10min relaxing stroll to the Force Waterfall ... Situated behind the Green Dragon Inn which is also well worth visiting...

We were slightly put out by the £4 payment each to begin with, but loved our early evening May visit in glorious sunshine. The whole area is beautifully kept, easy gravel paths up to the falls, and some lovely play and picnic areas. All very safe. Well worth a visit!
