I've been seeing Doc Mike for the past fifteen years or more. He is that successful.

He is the greatest dermatologist you will ever come across. He never overcharges. He walks you through every step of the process. He cleans them thoroughly, so the extraction can hurt, but it will all be worthwhile. There isn't another dermatologist I would choose.

I have been going to Imperial Dermatology for around 10 years now and I will definitely keep coming back! They surely get the job done. Doc Mike and all the staff are very professional, polite and will make you feel at ease. Amazes me that they even remember my name (inluding Doc Mike's secretary who blurted my name the moment I walked in and I didn't even make an appointment) despite me being away.
Wishing all of them more success!

I have been Doc Mike's patient for about 12 years now. Or maybe even more, yet he still remembers me even if I have only been in his clinic for about 4 or 5 times within this timeframe. That's how effective he is.

He is the best dermatologist one could ever ask for. He does not overprice, explains everything to you, and does not recommend unnecessary products.

He explains everything during the procedure. The extraction may be painful as he cleans them deep, but it's all worth it. I wouldn't want any other dermatologist.

I struggled with sever acne breakout. Before seeing Dr. Mike, I went to two different dermas only be to dissapointed. Dr. Mike is the only one who were able to treat my acne. Due to sever acne, I had to undergo a 6-month medication, had to visit him twice a week for facial until he gradually lessen the visiting frequency and I got the result I wanted and dreamed of - CLEAR SKIN. Thank you, Dr. Mike!

I cannot count the number of times I had given up. I've been everywhere. Now I'm glad I can say this place is my final stop.

I've put on cheap over the counters to expensive Proactiv. I've struggled through assembly line facial salons to Belo's that only go as far as sell you over-branded, overpriced topicals. It was frustrating. I've bruised my inner elbow from clumsily sticking glutathione needles into my inner elbow at the faintest hearsay that that would do the trick. None of them did. Even the search for the most affordable solution ended up piling on expenses.

I had read about Dr. Mike's place before. It was a popular recommendation on the obscure pages of the Pinoyexchange forums, of which I was not a member. What initially scared me off was being prescribed isotretinoin, a.k.a. Accutane, with its so many internet horror stories, from desert skin to depression to suicide.

Eventually, I went, maybe already few years overdue. I mean, a doctor won't prescribe you a serious drug like isotretinoin if it's going to kill you, right?

So I went in. The doctor gave me isotretinoin. That was a given. He told me I had to commit fully to the treatment for it to have any lasting effect. He was reassuring the whole time, making sure that I understood that I can reach him any time I have concerns.

He set expectations of what will happen under the year-long regimen: One, your skin will flare up and will get worse than status quo. That's for 2 months. Check. That happened to me.

Two, your skin will finally start clearing up but will dry stinging and itching. You'll be recommended moisturizer. That doesn't fix it, but it's better than nothing. That's for the next 2 months after. Check. That happened to me.

Three is your fifth month. There's no dryness and no breakouts. Check.

Save up! In my severe case, it was ₱3k to ₱5k a visit. If I remember the frequency correctly, it was twice a month for the first 2, once a month after the second and once every 2 months after the sixth.

You'll meet and chat with the doctor under the knife during extractions, mostly focusing on cystics. In order for him to tend to all his patients, the doctor will have to be efficient. Unlike your facial salons, he will cut deep and squeeze hard. But it will all be over quick.

I'm past my sixth month as of writing and still seeing the doctor just to completely close the treatment. I didn't think I'd make it to a point where I'd be moving on to just dealing with literal scars of the past.

I put this out because this is the kind of information I wish I had gotten when I was searching for a solution. I hope this helps you.
