I was at a friend’s home and saw a Dog Bone Portrait of their beloved dog, who lived till 19.Instead of being a reminder of loss it was a remembrance of love —the resemblance was sweet and spot on and the little images were all happy reminders of life with Kip. I decided to do one for our dog, Yogi. Working with Mari to bring my dog’s portrait to life was so much fun because I got to think about all the ways he brings me joy. My husband and I loved it so much we gave it as a gift to my sister for her adorable dog, Homer, and since then so many friends have jumped at the chance to do the same.
