Located in a very beautiful town. Peaceful and beautiful even on a gloomy day.
Much less crowded than Good Harbor beach, but parking lot requires Rockport beach sticker.
Clear, calm water. Good quality water, not too many people.
Lots of pebbles like Pebble Beach. More parking space than Pebble Beach.
You would want shoes to want around very rocky. But it gets Sandy near and in the water. Be careful, some of the water entrance spots are rocky

Sandy, Salty Water, Warm Sunshine, Great Breeze. What can you say? It's the Best. Keep it up, mother earth. You are delivering one of the best places to hang out when you are visiting Cape Ann. Be sure to bring a towel, swimsuit, some great food in a cooler and don't forget you must swim in the ocean regardless of temperature
