Not as good as it used to be. There always seems to be stock issues of late, lots of gaps on shelves and you have to really check fresh fruit and veg before buying, we found a number of punnets of fruit that had gone mouldy which is really off-putting. We popped in last time for a handful of run of the mill items and ended up having to go elsewhere to get half of it. The staff for the most part are good. Disabled parking right by the door and wheelchair trolleys are always available.

Lidl is advertising in the national press for three Wine-derful offers. Do be aware that the reduced prices only apply if you have a Lidl Plus card (like a Tesco Clubcard). However, this is made much less clear than Tesco clubcard price labelling. Not false advertising, but misleading!

It has everything you need from glossaries although it is not too much big, I used to buy my stuff when I was living there

Great shop, it usually has what I need. I'm rarely waiting at the tills for long as the queues go down quickly. Most of the staff are friendly.

terrible store. there are always huge queues and only 1 cash register working. There is no self checking so when you have only one thing you have to wait ages to pay for it

Could use some self -checkout tills to reduce queuing but it's a great little supermarket.

OK and cheap for the basic staples, the rest is dependent largely on availability and I suspect what higher management can can negotiate in the wholesale market. If you want specific items e.g. more diverse range of canned goods and something more exciting than basic chicken, etc. Sainsbury's is just up the road.

Good sized car park with adequate disabled spaces. However, too many parent and child spaces so the unscrupulous just pull in and don't give a f. This could be stopped by either reducing the number of spaces so they generate much more respect or implementing the financial penalties.

The staff are all really good and look very happy.
