Terrible service very unkind cancelled appointment i booked for an elder family member twice and only few hours before the appointment time. Everytime when i call i get a very harsh member staff no kind peaple there

Staff is very helpful, fixed my lens loose issue promptly. Thank you very much.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses and was told at the time it would be 3 weeks. After 2 weeks i called them for an update and was told 1 pair were in. I have left it another week as they didn't call as promised. Today i was informed they could not get the glass and they were going to have to be reordered and this would take another 3 weeks. I asked why i wasn't informed of this problem especially as i had ordered 2 pairs, the response was different manufacturers. I asked if she could get the manager to ring me but not heard back. I am not impressed at this moment with the service and they had been recommended by both friends and family. In the mean time i am having to use over the counter glasses as my prescription glasses are broken.

I used to get contact lenses here but switched to Boots due to moving house. I've had 3 failed attempts at boots to get a contact lens check up due to their poor planning and service so I decided to go back here as I was always happy with the service, even though its a bit out of my way now. The optician was so lovely as were the other ladies I dealt with. Visit was quick, absolutely no issues and felt like I was well looked after 😊 10/10 would recommend!

All in all good service & glasses. I'm near my return 2yr eye test, glasses were falling to pieces, arm fell off, screw came out of 2nd pair etc (pay cheap, get cheap) but all credit where credit's due. They fixed them back together, they still feel comfortable and when I asked the cost, Zero, free...!! Definitely will go back...!!

Have tried contacting to find out when next eye test was due and to get a pair of glasses repaired but phone is either just ringing out or going straight to answer machine and up to now have had no reply to message left.
** Got a call back this afternoon and got all info needed so have changed rating slightly due to helpful member of staff **

Price seemed fair, time for test to glasses OK.
Unfortunately cannot wear tge glasses due to eye strain, headaches and reduced vision in poor light.

Went into store soon after finding I could not use the glasses, was told I had been given an eye test and they were as prescribed. No further advice offered.
Obtained a response to the first review, emailed back but did not get any response. Still do not recommend.

Very unprofessional. Every time I've been in one of the managers makes a big issue out of everything and tries to generate panic in the customers and is very vocal about other opticians. Also, there is never an optician on site, so any variation to your requests are met with a negative response as the staff don't have the authority to give you answer. Years ago used them a lot but now it's like going to a second hand car show room.
